Nissan billed the Xterra as a rugged and affordable SUV for outdoorsy young buyers, but its practicality and price made it popular with drivers of all ages. Pickup-based SUVs may be on the verge of a small comeback as Ford eyes a new version of its Bronco to challenge the Jeep Wrangler. If that happens, don't be surprised if Nissan revives the Xterra. They're all gone, but you're only likely to notice the absence of the boxy little xB. The xB was Scion's first success, an odd little car that gave birth to a boomlet in squared-off small cars. In exchange, Toyota's Scion brand added the iM and iA in 2015. If this total makeover doesn't breathe new life into the brand, it's worth asking if Scion itself belongs on the endangered list. This good-looking SUV aimed to compete with the Ford Edge and Nissan Murano, but never caught on with buyers. That may be because it's styling was essentially that of a scaled-up version of a European compact hatchback car without enough SUV looks to win American buyers. Engineered, designed and built in the U.S., the Venza was arguably the handsomest model in Toyota's lineup. Based on the Golf hatchback, this two-door compact had a retractable hardtop roof. The complicated roof made it more expensive and heavier than other small convertibles. Its lack of exciting looks, handling or performance also hurt its sales prospects.

NASA鈥檚 Curiosity rover recently captured some beautiful new photographs of the vacant Martian environment, including a haunting new view of the Martian horizon from its vantage point in the Gale Crater. The shot captured on November 1 is one of the many photos posted to NASA鈥檚 public feed of images from the rover. Some of the photographs are more eye-catching than others, like a striking rock formation or a shot of Curiosity鈥檚 own shadow, while others show close-ups of rocks and sediment. The Gale Crater, the subject of Curiosity鈥檚 eerie landscape photograph, is about 100 miles wide from the rover鈥檚 vantage point on the Central Butte, a sloping rocky area the rover is currently exploring. These pictures aren鈥檛 just for show 鈥?they鈥檙e also part of Curiosity鈥檚 mission to help scientists learn about Mars. The area is geologically interesting because scientists think Gale Crater was covered with lakes and rivers of liquid water around three billion years ago, reports Vice鈥檚 Becky Ferreira. That means it鈥檚 the perfect spot for Curiosity to dig around for hints of microbial life.

The Mountaineer has two engines available. The Base model gets a 210 horsepower 4.0 liter V6. Premier can get the same engine or a 292 horsepower 4.6 liter V8. The six-cylinder engine is matched with a five-speed automatic transmission and the eight-cylinder is matched with a six-speed automatic, both with overdrive. Best fuel economy is with the rear-wheel drive eight-cylinder engine, which gets 15 miles per gallon in the city and 21 miles per gallon on the highway. Overall, fuel efficiency could be improved. Mountaineer also does well on safety with five-star front and side impact ratings from NHTSA, slightly above class average. The three-star rollover rating is a rather low average for these vehicles. Mountaineer has child safety locks, tire pressure monitor, anti-theft system, antilock brakes with electronic brake assist, traction control, stability control and airbags everywhere - all standard. You can also get an electronic parking aid. 27,225, certainly among the best prices in class for what you get. With that in mind, Mountaineer's "problems" just don't seem large enough to keep it from getting a good look from anyone wanting a midsize SUV.

This is mainly in order to facilitate the Land Rover extra-horsepower engine not only to overcome the weight of the vehicle but to offer additional power for intense driving. This type of motoring can be for hill-driving, making sure your children and friends go to the football or just taking on large bulks. In fact, Land Rover models are ideal for a multifariousness of changing situations normally because of the strength and quickness which the Land Rover engines can offer to drivers. Land Rovers are made with control and power at the forefront of their design, but in a few of the more recent models the Land Rover design team have really pushed the limits of improved functionality with their cars. Because of this development, a number of the Land Rover vehicles have been designed with power in mind and they also have many aesthetic and practical design features to make driving and using a Land Rover a little bit easier.

Got a new model 3. Took it in for service, I screwed up my appointment and showed up without an appointment. They fit me in, fixed the squeak and I was on my way in less than an hour. They also washed my car and put my license plates on. And all the employees were happy to be at work. Forever a Tesla owner. I wish I could give 0 stars. The Tesla official website says that you must be 21 or older. So I'm guessing their staff is a little uninformed. I was excited to get into a Tesla. They knew my exact age when I walked in there but still proceeded to schedule a test drive appointment. Did they change their mind? Did they not want to sell to me? Was it race involved? Turns out the Minnesota Tesla dealership doesn't like black people. After this experience, I'll never buy one.
