In the Holland & Holland car, the interior is upholstered with the softest tan and espresso leather hides, with precision leather detailing including Holland & Holland embroidery on the front seats. Even the sides of the transmission tunnel are trimmed in the same shade of leather. The engraver's art is well represented too, with Holland & Holland's brand-defining acanthus scroll turning the internal door handles into works of art. The fascia letterbox panels are decorated with gunstock checkering and the exquisite engraving of the centre console panel has been inspired by Holland & Holland's distinctive forend diamonds. What really sets the new Holland & Holland Range Rover apart, though, is located in the boot. A stunning leather-trimmed aluminium loadspace cabinet - debossed with the Holland & Holland logo - has been designed especially for this car. Its espresso Alcantara-trimmed interior can be precisely fitted to safely transport the owner of the car's pair of Holland & Hollands - although it is also removable when maximum luggage capacity is required. It sits on a deployable loadspace floor, engineered from aluminium and carbon fibre and finished with leather and wood veneer. The floor components are machined and cut to produce a unique platform that slides out with a perfectly damped action, to ensure that the cabinet is easily accessible, even when the tailgate is open. The sliding floor is also designed to be load-bearing so that it can still be sat upon when owners wish to change their footwear or stop for a brief picnic. When floor and box are in their travel position, they sit low and well back in the boot to ensure that there is still plenty of room for luggage or sports equipment.

The Britpart MSA British Cross Country Championship season kicks off next weekend (14/15 April) with the opening round of the 2012 championship taking place in Myherin forest in Mid-Wales. The championship has attracted a good quality entry which should provide another season of close competition. Martin Cox is another driver who is expected to be on the pace after switching to a GSR 206 mid-way through last year. Dan Evans, who contested one BCCC event last year as a Clubman entry and finished with a time which would鈥檝e given him a win had he been entered in the championship, will contest a full season in his Milner R5. Several BCCC regulars will once again be competing in 2012 including Warrington鈥檚 Mike Moran in his AT 4x4 Indy Challenger, Steve Smith in his BMW M3-powered Focus and Phil Ibbotson in his Metro 6R4 Evo. Paul Myers, Managing Director of championship sponsor Britpart, will also contest the full championship this year. Joining the regulars in the championship will be a few new names including Andi Skelley, who will use his 3M Land Rover and Lee Salt who will be in the Salt Buggy he contested two Clubman events in last year. The BCCC Trophy championship, for National B/Clubman drivers, has attracted some new crews also including Paul Harris in a GSR Maxilight and Jon Damrel who will use a Land Rover Discovery. Running alongside the BCCC and BCCC Trophy will be the Freelander Challenge which is for near-standard production Land Rover Freelanders. The Race2Recovery team will use the Freelander Challenge to continue their training for the 2013 Dakar rally. The action will start at 10am on Saturday with a full day of competition. Day 2 will start at 9am with an early afternoon finish.

As an auto Sales Stats addict, you typically read GoodCarBadCar.net's posts on both U.S. Auto Sales and Canadian Auto Sales. The differences are astounding but seem easily explained by pointing to population differences. Is that all there is to it? Is the Canadian new vehicle market just a smaller version of the American new vehicle market? Aren't Canadians just Americans without guns? Don't they buy the same vehicles even as they watch the same TV shows? Three pertinent points must be made before we bother looking at specific automobiles. First, there are specific models available in the U.S. Canada, and vice versa. Second, there's a huge set of financial factors at play, from fuel prices to currency exchange and unique tariffs. Finally, Canadians buy more vehicles on a per capita basis. Through the first four months of 2011, there was one vehicle sold for every 70 people in Canada. During the same period, Americans acquired one vehicle for every 73 people. In other words, despite a population that's nine times bigger than Canada's, America's new vehicle market so far this year is only 8.5 times bigger.

The Land Rover Range Rover Astronaut Edition is truly limited in scope. The only individuals with a shot at owning it are future astronauts. The British luxury brand announced the Astronaut Edition on Thursday, and it will be offered exclusively to members of the Virgin Galactic Future Astronaut program. The company, founded by billionaire Richard Branson, aims to provide spaceflights for tourists and also suborbital missions for science. Separating the Range Rover Astronaut Edition from other models is the Zero Gravity Blue exterior color, which takes inspiration from the night sky. Bespoke puddle lamps also produce a silhouette of the Virgin Galactic SpaceShipTwo. Unique exterior badging is also present. The interior features a remarkable nod to Virgin Galactic, however. The cupholders are made from pieces of the front landing skid from the company's first space flight in 2018. Portions of the skid were reformed to make two discs within the cupholders. Yet, it doesn't end with the current spaceship skid. Once a customer who takes delivery of their own Range Rover Astronaut Edition takes flight and returns as an astronaut, Land Rover will swap out the cupholder pieces. In place of the original skid discs will be wooden skid from the customer's own spaceship with personalized quotes from his or her experience. Other out-of-this-world features include a "DNA of Flight" graphic on the carbon-fiber front console and rear leather armrest, and the Virgin Galactic constellation pattern engraved on the aluminum door handles. The same design is featured on the front headrests and just above the glovebox panel. The special edition is based on the Range Rover Autobiography, which leaves buyers with two options: a plug-in hybrid powertrain or supercharged V-8. Those who really want one of these special Land Rovers will have to set their sights high.

For the responsorial psalm, see nos. 30, 31, 32, 35, 36, 37, 40 (and 29A or 29B for a seasonal option). 323 Hark, The Herald Angels Sing 303 Awake! The Triduum is the high point of the liturgical year, and how the music is prepared should reflect that. Some large parishes that have several choirs for the Sunday liturgies bring these choirs together into one for the Triduum to give a sense of unity to the three celebrations and an experience of the whole for the members. Glory to God: This song of praise is omitted during Lent. It is sung (鈥渨ith bells on鈥? during the Mass of the Lord鈥檚 Supper to mark the beginning of the Triduum and during the Easter vigil (again 鈥渨ith bells on鈥? when the Triduum reaches its climax. It is sung during all of the Sundays during Easter and also on each of the weekdays in the Octave of Easter. Responsorial psalms: Musicians are encouraged to use the responsorial psalms provided for each celebration in CBW III. For Year C, see nos.

The 2020 Defender, unlike the previous model, will have semi-autonomous driving features. Available for the car are automatic emergency braking assist, lane-keeping assist, traffic-sign recognition software, cruise control and speed limiters. The 2020 Defender makes use of Land Rover鈥檚 all-new, aluminium, monocoque D7x chassis, which is the stiffest Land Rover has ever made. On the road, this platform should be much more comfortable than the old model, which fell victim to some extreme body roll. Also, ideal for when you鈥檙e off the road, the D7x setup increases the car鈥檚 ground clearance by 2cm over the old Defender, making it able to cover rough ground with even greater ease. You can even get it with air suspension, too, which gives you the ability to add another 75mm of ground clearance if need be. The new Defender鈥檚 air suspension is also available with an Adaptive Dynamics feature. This monitors how the car鈥檚 body moves, taking measurements at up to 500 times per second. Then, with that info, it can adjust the suspension based on the terrain and your driving style, making sure the ride is always as smooth and comfy as possible.

It features a 10.2-inch touchscreen display and advanced features such as an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot powered by a 4G LTE data connection and real-time traffic and weather updates. As many as nine USB ports dot the cabin, and a rear-seat entertainment system is optional. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability is standard. The Discovery hasn't been tested by either of the leading safety agencies here in the U.S., but Land Rover offers a full suite of driver-assistance features. A handful of features are standard but most are available either as standalone options or as part of one of three option packages: Drive Pack, Park Pack, or Driver Assist Pack. Land Rover offers a wholly average warranty package, with most coverages good for four years or 50,000 miles. While the Discovery does not offer complimentary scheduled maintenance, Land Rover does offer discounted maintenance packages that can be purchased through the dealer that will cover the Discovery for up to four years.
