CONDITION SUMMARY:
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE AND SOFTWARE DISC FOR DVD DIAGNOSTICS
Situation:
A range of software and hardware issues within the DVD system contribute to difficulty in diagnosis of system faults. The concerns are: failing in
use, locking up, refusal to load discs, ejecting/sticking discs, distorted picture. This Technical Bulletin has been issued to supply a Diagnostic
Procedure for accessory-installed DVD systems.
Action:
Because of the various issues encountered, the diagnostic Procedure's shown provides a list of possible failure modes and appropriate rectification
procedures for each failure.

CAUTION:
The system's operating voltage range is 11-16VDC. The systems operating temperature is 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F). Use of the DVD system
beyond the safe operating ranges listed can cause temporary or permanent damage to the unit. Such damage may not be covered by the
manufacturer's warranty. Failure to follow this instruction may invalidate the manufactures warranty.
DIAGNOSTIC SECTIONS:
