2019 Land Rover LR2 Prices, Reviews & Listings For Sale

The Land Rover LR2 is powered by a V6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Reviewers found the engine underpowered and said acceleration is sluggish. The EPA estimates that the 2012 LR2 gets 15/22 mpg city/highway, which is one of the lowest fuel economy ratings in the class. With standard all-wheel drive and Land Rover's Terrain Response System, which allows the driver to select drive modes for different types of terrain, reviewers said the LR2 is incredibly capable off-road. However, critics found that the LR2 exhibits quite a bit of body roll in turns on pavement. Some also disliked the LR2's brakes, noting that they can be too sensitive, and that hard braking causes the nose to dive down quite a bit. Still, reviewers found that the LR2's soft suspension means that it rides fairly comfortably. Some reviewers said the 2012 LR2 has first-rate interior materials while others said that rivals' cabins feel more luxurious.

There's been a lot of talk about the proposed Land Rover "Road Rover" project following the company's 2018 patent filing. Some say that the Road Rover will be a butch wagon, others suggest it could be a full-on luxury sedan. But the latest rumor suggests the Land Rover Road Rover will be a fully electric, direct shot at the upcoming EVs from Porsche and Audi. The publication Autocar believes this will be Land Rover's "most road-focused model yet." Though, it will maintain key Land Rover qualities, like the ability to travel off road and all-wheel drive. Company documents say it will be a "medium SUV," meaning it will compete directly with the upcoming Macan EV and E-Tron Sportback and should sit between the Evoque and Velar size-wise. Land Rover hasn't outright confirmed the Road Rover project, but we do know that the Modular Longitudinal Platform (MLA) will underpin both this upcoming electric Land Rover and the next-generation Jaguar XJ. The "skateboard" architecture will offer battery capacity of up to 90 kilowatt-hours with a range of around 290 miles of range. JLR will build those batteries in house, likely with help from BMW. But the Road Rover project is just the cherry on top. Starting next year, every new product in the JLR portfolio will be electrified. Some will feature plug-in options, while others will go fully electric. That includes current Land Rover products like the entire Range Rover brand, Defender, and Discovery. Don't expect the Defender, though, to go fully electric.

Available in both sedan and hatchback bodies in either natural or Mazdaspeed flavors, this generation was sold until 2009, with some countries having it a little longer. If Mazda's return to the Philippines was a success, better thank the Mazda 3 especially this sold extremely well throughout its shelf life than the model that replaced it. It was locally manufactured during its time, the 3 found more homes and was a hit among the younger crowd. A minor model change occurred in 2007 and it was finally placed out of pasture in 2012. The sedan came in first in 2004 while the hatchback followed a year later. There is a good reason why the Mazda 3 depreciates faster than other Japanese compacts, they are good buys for those seeking a sporty car with the practicality of a sedan. Thinking of buying one? Prices range from P350,000-P550,000 which encompasses all variants and year models. Avoid modified units since they can bring potential headaches to you.
