Hand built by robots' who turned out to be no better than humans, Stradas started rusting the moment they left the showroom, yet somehow this one has survived in totally original condition. Festival-goers loved it and voted it the People's Choice. It's strange to think this humble FSO was once owned by Jaguar Land Rover, having been part of the famed James Hull collection. It had been off the road for four years and is now about to set off on a 12,000-mile fundraising jaunt through 20 countries. An Audi from a time when they were seen as offbeat niche products and an unusual choice of car - how different things were fifty years ago. I'd never seen one before, not surprising as there are only two RHD examples left. Well done to Audi UK for preserving their heritage.

My favorite ankle smacked a large rock underneath the water, and that was the only sense of the bottom I had. We collected on a sand bar about forty yards away. There was a group of other boaters there, many of whom had done the same thing. “You just went through the Washing Machine,” one of the guides told me standing there half elated, “but you did exactly what you should do in a wipe out - great job. I mean, you did exactly what you are supposed to do. You didn’t panic at all.” I could tell by the look on his face he was surprised by this for some reason.

There were big changes for the 2020 model year, including a new inline-6 mild-hybrid powertrain that replaced a supercharged V-6. A new plug-in hybrid version of the Range Rover Sport arrived in 2020, complete with a turbo-4 engine and 13.1-kwh lithium ion battery that can power the SUV for up to 30 miles on a single charge. The latest Range Rover Sport arrived for the 2014 model year and has seen updates every year since. It shares its architecture with the bigger Range Rover, which was itself new in 2013. Both models now use aluminum extensively in their construction. As such, the Sport also achieves major weight loss with the resulting performance upgrade.

In recent years some non-competitive clubs have dropped their affiliation fifth ALRC. Few clubs outside of the UK are affiliated with ALRC. Other than ALRC and the short lived Association of North American Rover Clubs (ANARC), which was created 1998 to celebrate Land Rover's 50th anniversary and disbanded in 2001, other groups of Land Rover clubs have affiliated with each other. Land Rover owners were also early adopters of virtual clubs that are entirely based online. In 2005, under Ford ownership, Land Rover became more interested in the club environment. Ford's Premier Automotive Group (Now exclusive to the new 'Jaguar - Land Rover' group since the brand moved away from the Ford stable). Also, an agreement was generated to allow other clubs to use the Land Rover green oval logo under licence. Land Rover and they can refer to themselves as a 'Land Rover Approved Club'.
