Throughout the 1990's, Ford developed a cost effective Global Enterprise Network Integration (GENI) process to link all its locations compromising on the type of the connection and the cabling in favor of full coverage. During the same time, Ford started building its Web Farm, which was basically a set of hardware and software managed by a team for building Ford's public website. The work started by publishing documents for technical references and moved to more advanced images from a live auto show. As a result, the website received 1 million visits a day in less than 2 years after its official launch. In the path towards service cost reduction and bringing more business through the web, Ford worked closely with its competitors in the U.S. GM and Chrysler to establish what came to be known as "Automotive Network Exchange" (ANX) certificate. The protocols aimed at providing a unified communications standard through the Internet to enable suppliers to provide common technology for all manufacturers.

Advanced features include a hard disc drive music server and Land Rover鈥檚 鈥淪ay What You See鈥?voice recognition system with screen prompts. An outstanding Range Rover Sport engine line-up remains unchanged for 2013. The naturally aspirated 5.0-liter produces 375HP with 375lb-ft torque and the flagship 5.0-liter Supercharged, a stunning 510HP with 461lb-ft torque. All engines drive through ZF automatic gearboxes. The 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Limited Edition provides drivers with a combination of luxurious interior appointments and sporting exterior design changes. With 510 horsepower at the ready, the Supercharged Range Rover Sport has extraordinary performance capabilities.

Jaguar Land Rover, the UK's leading manufacturer of premium luxury vehicles delivered positive sales performance year-to-date, retailing 384,665 vehicles, up 11% versus the same period last year. During October, Jaguar Land Rover has sold 33,512vehicles, down 2%, largely reflecting production scheduling factors. Jaguar Land Rover's regional performance calendar year-to-date shows 35% growth in the China Region, 18% in Asia Pacific, 6% in the UK and 4% in North America and in Europe, with other overseas markets 1% down. Retails in the month of October were as follows: Asia Pacific up 22%, the UK up 4%, the China Region up 3%, and Europe in line with prior year. Land Rover delivered 28,149 vehicles in October, down 1%. Calendar year-to-date sales reached 316,068 vehicles, up 11% year-on-year on the back of continued strong customer demand particularly for the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport. Jaguar sales in the month of October retailed 5,363 down 7%. Calendar year-to-date sales were up 8% year-on-year, retailing 68,597 vehicles, with the F-Type continuing to drive sales and raise brand awareness around the world.
