Ford offers a deployable step hidden in the tailgate that makes getting into the bed easier. But if you鈥檙e one of those tailgaters who has NFL Sunday Ticket, the F-350 offers a 110-volt/150-watt power inverter to hook up computers or flat screens to watch the action live. Trucks are always going to be a go-to for any tailgater. 10 for single-day access, it鈥檚 clear why it made it on our list. The Ram 1500, when equipped with the RamBox package, adds lockable compartments, tie-down cleats, and a bed divider to make it easy to load up for the big game. While the Ford F-150 has a hidden tailgate step, the Ram features an air suspension system that lets you lower the frame, making it easier to get your gear in and out of the bed. The waterproof storage is drainable as well, which makes us think these were always meant to be used as coolers.

The Defender has been one of Land Rover鈥檚 longer running cars with a lifespan of more than 40 years. Unfortunately the manufacturer had to discontinue the model a year ago as it was no longer compliant with the latest safety regulations. While many people thought the car was gone, it looks like the company will release a successor. There aren鈥檛 that many details available just yet. Even so, it is safe to assume the upcoming 2019 Land Rover Defender will be quite an impressive vehicle. As it will have to replace such a capable off-road machine, it is safe to assume it will be just as good as the previous model. There will be quite a few differences between the two and some of them will be quite interesting. While the other cars using the platform are fine, none of them is as good as the old Defender. For starters, the upcoming Defender is no longer going to use a body on frame design.

The system can be set to General, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud and Ruts, or Sand. Plus, the LR2 has generous angles to help transition from flats to hills (29 ascent/32 descent), Hill Descent Control, and Gradient Release Control for further control on descents, and a 19.7-inch wading depth. The LR2鈥檚 cushy suspension, solid structure, Dynamic Stability Control, and Roll Stability Control all combine to provide a comfortable on-pavement ride. Reviewers tend to agree that the LR2 handles as smoothly as any SUV in its class and certainly feels more stable than Land Rover鈥檚 old Discovery. The front seats provide ample room even for larger adults. The steering wheel has a myriad of adjustment options, and the driver鈥檚 seat is 8-way adjustable, so finding a comfortable driving position should be easy. Three large adults might find a long trip in the back seat a bit cozy. The rear seats can fold completely flat to offer 58.9 cubic feet of cargo space, or they can fold in a 60/40 split. High-quality wood and leather trim, solid-plastic and eye-pleasing yet ergonomic control design give the LR2鈥檚 interior a luxurious feel that many have come to expect from Land Rover. Amenities include a nine-speaker Alpine audio system with a 6-CD changer, dual-climate control, and a push-button starter. The power-assisted, four-wheel ventilated disc brakes are just the start of the LR2鈥檚 safety features. There鈥檚 also the four-channel, all-terrain, antilock brake system, electronic brakeforce distribution, Emergency Brake Assist, and Cornering Brake Control.

THE drip-feed of 2020 Land Rover Defender content continues, with an image of what could be the new Defender - illuminated on the vehicle鈥檚 display cluster - surfacing on Instagram. Posted to the 鈥榣androverphotoalbum鈥?Instagram page, the sneaky photo closely resembles the leaked 鈥楲EGO Defender鈥?that was unofficially revealed earlier this week. Someone managed to sneakily photograph the display cluster of the New Defender. Both images reveal a white roof, a raised hood, boxy elements to its design and a spare wheel on the rear door. The digital cluster image then indicates the vehicle may hark back to its ancestors and include a roof window above rear-seat passengers. A spy shot of the upcoming Defender鈥檚 interior did the rounds back in February, 2019. More interior shots have now found their way onto the web, indicating the original shot was bang on the money. The recent images confirm that the transmission shifter resides on the centre stack to free up space for storage. It sits alongside climate control dials and terrain/drive management buttons and below a large touchscreen, while hard-edged, boxy design elements remain throughout. Earlier spy shots indicate the Defender will share its underpinnings with the Range Rover and Discover and run height-adjustable independent front and rear air suspension. A 2020 Defender test mule was also spotted in Africa, wearing a unique camouflage and a fitted with an integrated raised-air intake.
