If you live in snow country you know convertible and sports car season is coming to an end. Soon it will be time to put our pets away till next year. In this article I鈥檇 like to offer some pointers for storing late model collector cars. Start by filling your car with fuel and pouring in the correct amount of fuel stabilizer. I suggest Sta-Bil brand but alternatives are available. A full gas tank minimizes the chance of condensation which happens when water vapor from the air condenses on the inside of the gas tank as temps drop in the evening. If this happens every day in a car that鈥檚 in storage you can accumulate a great deal of water in the fuel. Filling the tank to the top will prevent it. I also suggest pouring in a bottle of octane booster as the fuel will lose octane rating the longer it is stored. Note: cars built after the 1990s have sealed fuel tanks which should not allow free circulation of vapors.

NASA has picked a landing site for its upcoming Mars 2020 rover. The space agency will try to land its nuclear-powered robot in Jezero Crater, a giant impact near the Martian equator. Jezero Crater was a water-rich area billions of years ago on Mars, and it might still hide signs of alien life such as microbes. NASA hopes to dig up and store Martian soil samples 鈥?for the first time in human history 鈥?for a future launch back to Earth. NASA has finally announced where it plans to land the Mars 2020 rover and dig for signs of alien life in the red planet's soil. The car-size robot is expected to land inside the 28-mile-diameter Jezero Crater, an ancient impact site located just north of the Martian equator. It was one of more than 60 sites that NASA internally analyzed and debated over a number of years. Jim Bridenstine, the administrator of NASA, said in a tweet on Monday. NASA's Mars 2020 rover is made from a backup of the Curiosity rover, which landed on Mars in August 2012 and has roamed the red planet on nuclear power ever since. Thomas Zurbuchen, NASA's associate administrator, said in the release. Jezero Crater, which is about two-thirds the size of the US state of Rhode Island, was officially named in 2007 after a town in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The name means "lake" in several Slavic languages, and it is no coincidence; the impact site was once rich with liquid water. Like Curiosity, NASA plans to use a death-defying "sky crane" system to plunk the 2,315-lb robot on the Martian surface. However, the sky crane for Mars 2020 will come with a massive artificial-intelligence-powered upgrade, called "terrain relative navigation," which could help the robot avoid hitting any hazards as it lands.

There are seven airbags: two-stage frontal bags, side-impact bags for the front seats, airbag curtains for both rows, and a final small airbag for the driver's knees. There's no mistaking the LR2 for anything but a Land Rover. Your neighbors might think it's a Range Rover, although it's 18.6 inches shorter overall and 6.5 inches less high. But its wheelbase is only 6.5 inches less, giving it a total of one less foot of overhangs, which makes it more modern and compact.
