How To Build A Milk Jug Igloo
鈥?LOTS of clean recycled plastic milk jugs, mostly gallon-sized but a few half-gallon jugs will be helpful too. 鈥?A cardboard base. This can be made of several big pieces of cardboard taped together. 鈥?High heat glue guns and glue sticks. Watch the above video for details! 1. Collect clean plastic milk jugs. 2. Tape together large pieces of cardboard to make a base. 3. Using a nail, string, and a sharpie make a circle on the base as big as your igloo will be. 4. Begin gluing jugs together with handles together. Then glue sets together with back tops touching. 5. Create the outer row with sets of four jugs. Make sure to leave an opening four jugs wide. 6. Add four more rows. Your sixth row will include jugs over the door opening. 7. Move each row in slightly to create a curvature. 8. When you reach the top, use half-gallon jugs to fill the hole. 9. Create an entry way. If you face jugs out you can decorate with colorful tops. We learned some things from our igloo project.
THE COMPANY ACKNOWLEDGED THE ISSUE AND AT THE FACTORY CHANGED THE SUSPENSION OF SUBSEQUENT MODELS, HOWEVER THEY ALLOWED CURRENT OWNER SUCH AS OURSELVES AND OUR THREE CHILDREN TO DRIVE UNSAFE VEHICLE WITHOUT NOTIFICATION. WE HAVE HAD SEVERELY UNEVEN AND POTENTIALLY DEADLY TIRE WEAR TWICE WITH THIS SUV. I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY OTHER VEHICLES ARE BEING DRIVEN WITH THIS UNSAFE ISSUE. LANDROVER NORTH AMERICA REFUSES TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. SOMEONE IS GOING TO ROLLOVER THESE SUV'S OR HAVE A HIGH SPEED BLOW OUT. DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO DIE BEFORE LANDROVER TAKES NOTICE? WE THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW TO TRY AND SAVE SOME LIVES. THE TIRES ARE WEARING EXCESSIVELY. THE PROBLEM WAS CORRECTED AT 18,000 MILES SERVICE INTERVAL WITH AN ALIGNMENT AND REAPPEARED AT 30,000 SERVICE. THE DEALER SUGGEST CHANGING THE TIRES MORE OFTEN. THEY CAN NOT EXPLAIN THE CAUSE. SUSPENSION DROPS AND RAISES WHILE DRIVING. LIGHTS AND ALARMS ON DASH. UNABLE TO DRIVE CAR SAFELY.

The ball joints are new as well. You can't refinish a brake caliper without taking it completely to pieces. But you can't rebuild a caliper without taking it to pieces either, so the labor to that point is the same. Sometimes the calipers need machine work. When they are apart you can see pitting and wear. In most cases the 1970s calipers clean up, but there are some that are so rusty we install sleeves to give a smooth sealing surface. It's common to replace bleeders and hardware, and pistons may be upgraded to stainless, especially if we have to make them. That's happening more and more, as the quality of repair parts for old cars continues to drop. The red grease is modern synthetic stuff - a step up in performance from what the car had originally, and invisible once the dust cap is in place. Many of these fasteners will be tagged with yellow paint - just as the factory did - once they have their final torque set.
You may even see distortion when looking straight through aftermarket glass. Aftermarket glass is transported through different processes than OEM glass from a dealer. A lot of OEM glass is transported covered by plastic wrapping and using strict shipping techniques, and the windshield's edges are protected by foam wrapping. But Aftermarket glass is transported by much different practices. Most auto glass companies use no protection covering all surfaces of the glass for transport. And sometimes pieces of glass have been taken to customers locations and returned to the distributor or shop. So aftermarket glass has been handled many times! Now I'm not saying aftermarket glass is unsafe or unfit to use at all. I'm simply stating the facts about the truth, for your education and insight. I feel you should be educated about this part of your vehicle which essentially protects your family on a regular basis. If your vehicle has a rain sensor it should be located near the rear view mirror.
