A Great Farm Diary
Until I discovered this stuff, all my cars rusted out no matter what I did. It's the only thing that makes sense out of driving in a New England winter, with all the road salt used around here. Even the Land Rover would corrode if it wasn't for Fluid Film. Plus, it's made from sheep's lanolin. What could be better? If I get time later today, I'll take some pictures of the new vehicles to add to this post. But yes, I've had my work cut out for me recently. All this and lambing season too. Mother would be happy enough, though, with what I've managed to do with all her hard work and savings. In particular, as many Great Farm Diary readers know, Aimee's now expecting. I should think my mum would want her first and only grandchild to be driven in safe vehicles. I should think she'd also be glad to know how much she's helped our family financially. She was a very practical woman when it came to houses and money.
What a beautiful creature and that cub is adorable! This lens has been blessed and added to my animal alphabet lens. Stopped by again to give you an Angel Blessing for doing such a great job on this lens. These cats are so beautiful and it is disturbing that they can become extinct. The Amur Leopard is well worth out efforts to save from extinction and sad to think this world is getting too small for us all the coexist. What a beautiful animal and presentation! Excellent lens with a sad story. Lets hope this one has a happy ending! I am featuring your lens on my extinct birds page. This is an excellent lens about an important subject close to my heart. I love watching big cats in the wild, especially leopards and while so many are endangered this leopard is so close to extinction it really demonstrates the terrible problem that large predators have in the modern world.
The all-new Land Rover Defender has already caught the public鈥檚 imagination and done a similar number on the team here at Auto Express. Show us what you鈥檝e specced and tell us why. Land Rover鈥檚 efforts to recreate an off-road icon were always going to be fraught with danger, simply because the original Defender, and the series Land Rovers before it, mean so many different things to so many people. All JLR鈥檚 team of designers and engineers needed to do was please all of the people all of the time. 鈥?Opinion: does JLR really need the new Defender in its line-up? When you look at the online configurator, it seems they鈥檝e set out to do this by offering the new Defender with a vast array of different specifications, accessories and optional extras. The scope to create your personalised Defender is huge, even by modern car industry standards. There are important choices to be made. Do you configure a tough, hose-down Defender designed for wellies, hay bales and errant livestock? Or do you throw the options list at a money-no-object creation better suited to the trendier parts of town than an uncharted swamp?
The Ford Motor Company remains one of the world's major carmakers, but a series of challenges over the past two decades has pushed it steadily down the rankings. 2 manufacturer in 2000, it now sits in 6th place. As well as the main Ford brand, the company owns luxury marque Lincoln, sold mainly in North America. 2 selling model (behind Toyota's Corolla), with 1.08m units registered in 2018. However no other model made even the Top 25. In the US alone, both Ford brand and the F-Series are the local top sellers in both categories. Lincoln sits just outside the US Top 25 brands at 104k vehicles registered in 2018. Total group wholesale units slipped below 6.0m vehicles, a little under half of them in North America. 2 market, some way behind the US, followed by the UK and then Germany. 160bn, the best figure for more than a decade. 3.7bn. William Clay Ford Jr, great-grandson of company founder Henry Ford, is executive chairman and several other family members workds within the group.
