Chinese Brands: Chery, Geely, BYD, Great Wall and a myriad other makes are made in China. Most will go under and never be seen outside of China but some will, such as the ones listed. They usually look quite well styled and are inexpensive to buy. However, build quality is questionable to put it politely, and their crash worthiness is disgraceful. I cannot recommend anyone to buy any Chinese brands until they improve enormously. With Chinese branded cars, you cannot trust anything you do not see. The only makes that are probably acceptable are the Roewe and MG brands, which came from the defunct MG Rover company (see pic). US Brands: These cars do not make it here (NZ) in big numbers, but I have an idea of where they are at. The big three in the US scored poorly in reliability, quality, driving dynamics. On the plus side, they always had a style about them and generally looked good. They have certainly improved the weak areas, especially reliability .

Edwards stopped short of confirming exactly which models would be first to receive a rugged makeover, claiming that the idea was still being debated internally, but he hinted that the Range Rover family is near the top of his list.

The two extra seats, complete with three-point seat belts and head restraints, are stowed under the boot floor when not in use. BMW X5 owners who do not specify the third row of seats benefit instead from an additional 90-litre storage compartment situated below the boot floor. In a standard five-seat configuration the boot measures 620 litres 聳 up 155 litres (33.33%) compared to the outgoing X5. For sizeable objects, luggage capacity increases to 1,750 litres with all the rear seats stowed - a figure greater than that of any other BMW. While being one of the most practical cars BMW has ever made, the new X5 still has, as expected from the brand, with its premium prices too, a luxurious interior feel and a dynamic and sporty exterior shape. A drag coefficient as low as 0.33 places the BMW X5 at the top of its segment as the most aerodynamically efficient large SUV. This low figure is partly achieved by a rear tailgate that incorporates a roof spoiler and a near flat underbody to aid airflow. In the UK, nine exterior colours will be offered initially (from next spring) alongside four levels of trim and seven upholstery colours. BMWs iDrive control system also comes to the X5 for the first time. A new 聭wave style of dashboard houses the colour display while the iDrive controller sits on the centre console adjacent to the new style of gear selector. The controller is complemented by eight buttons integrated as system short cuts for ease of use. Supplementing the standard fit front and rear Park Distance Control , X5 customers can optionally order a rear camera for added parking convenience. Automatically activated when the reverse gear is selected, the driver is presented with a wide-angle colour image on the iDrive display in the centre console.
Selectively bred to haul nets and herd fish, this dog breed is a natural swimmer blessed with webbed feet and a waterproof coat. Despite their sophisticated looks, many people fail to recognize that poodles were originally bred in Germany to be water dogs. Indeed, this breed's name derives from the low German word " Pudelhund" which means "to splash about." In France, these dogs were used as a water retriever. These dogs make agile swimmers blessed with a moisture resistant curly coat. Of course, there are many other breeds who love water. Many spaniels love water such as the American water spaniel, Irish water spaniel and cocker spaniel. While spaniels were bred to flush game out of bushes, in the late seventeenth century they were upgraded to work as water and land breeds. Additionally, many dogs can be taught to love water by making it a positive experience. However, as mentioned there are some dog breeds that owners should practice extreme caution when around water. Have you seen my rubber ducky? On the other hand, we have dog breeds who are non-adept to swimming.
