When my father barbecued, he wrapped the shucked corn in the husks after they were damp and cooked them on the grill. Fabulous suggestions. I save my egg shells for both the birds(to help digest their food), and also use some for the soil. I also regularly put coffee ground down the kitchen sink to keep the drain clear and sweet smelling. Isn't it great to find uses for things that are virtually free? I get a kick out of it.

You can鈥檛 stop on a journey like this. Each time you go to the next stage you build up a structure within the organisation. You add a car line so you then need to refresh and update that car line. There鈥檚 no stopping once the wheels are in motion. Why is growth so important? To sustain yourself, you need to refresh and you need increased profit. Economies of scale are also important. We get protection by sharing platforms, sharing components and we can spread the diversity of products on existing platforms. Our competitors are significantly larger than we are, that will likely always be the case. But we are growing fast, and need to grow efficiently. Otherwise we will have to restructure once we have grown, which is more difficult to do. Another big factor for us is that the customer buying proposition has changed a lot and the traditional model of ownership is gradually evolving.

Even the value-priced 'S' model contains features and conveniences usually found only in pricier vehicles out in the market. Additionally, front-seat side airbags and also side curtain bags were made standard on all three trims, along with a new perimter anti-theft alarm system. Up until 2007, all had been optional. Ford also made available a DVD-based navigation setup, along with satellite radio. For 2010, the Fusion has undergone a complete redesign. It's most exciting development is the addition of a high-mileage gas-electric hybrid model that gets 41 miles to the gallon in city driving. It's no performance slug, either, putting out 155 horses from its small 4 cylinder gas-electric mill. Both mileage and horses are impressive achievement in such a vehicle. Today's Ford Fusion is quite an improvement in evolution from Ford models of even 10 years ago. Its twin attributes of value and true comfort and convenience are making it a force in the mid-size sedan segment, which has traditionally been dominated by certain foreign automakers.

Compact luxury SUVs have flourished in recent years with better fuel economy than their larger SUV stablemates, while still providing premium touches in smaller, less-expensive packages. Though a slight redesign helped modernize the 2013 Land Rover LR2, it doesn鈥檛 achieve the premium experience you鈥檒l find in Land Rover鈥檚 other SUVs. Land Rover is on a roll with the stylish, compact Range Rover Evoque and its signature Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, which are new and redesigned for 2013 and 2014, respectively. 895 destination charge, the LR2 is priced midpack among competitors like the BMW X3, Acura RDX and Volvo XC60, which you can compare here. For 2013, the LR2 borrows technology from the fresher 鈥?and pricier 鈥?Range Rover Evoque in the form of a more-efficient turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a new multimedia system.
