The scenery again was awesome, the closeness to nature- second to none and the sightings of lion, 27 in total including a couple of lovely long term viewings of prides made it a wildlife trip to remember. One time Derek, I and Tid found such a pride and enjoyed them exclusively for half an hour. We watched them all one by one get up and doddle over 100 yds to some shade and then sit down in bunch, some playing like cats on a sofa together, others just chilling. Lions do a lot of that! They are not hard to spot ; quite often it a very in your face sighting; right there on the side of the road laying down, snoring! Cheetahs can be much the same. Leopards however are another story and after many visits to Africa they still allude us. Something we really look forward to seeing.
