Recent Changes In Ford Motor Company's Lineup

Ford has made a few exciting to its current lineup of cars with a completely revamped Taurus, the powerful MKT and the fuel efficient Ford Fusion. For a few years now Ford has been mainly focusing on its luxury brands such as Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo. These divisions have been sold off due to the state of the economy and started to give some attention to Lincoln. The result of this is the gorgeous and powerful MKT. The design of the MKT is based on the Ford Flex but its appearance is still unique due to its unique front grille. The interior is on the upscale side with seats crafted out of fine leather and there is walnut trim throughout the cabin. The panoramic sunroof is truly amazing. The MKT is powered by a new Eco Boost engine. This vehicle sports a ton of power at 355 hp and 350 lb feet of torque. It's probably best to opt for the all-wheel drive option.

Series II and IIA had Solex downdraught carburettor to 1968, later Series IIA and Series III had Zenith 36IV. Both can give problems in old age - quickest fix is a Weber replacement, but opinions on this conversion are divided. Some people report carburettor icing, and the Weber has a smaller intake than either the Solex or Zenith, which reduces power output (although economy is improved). A new or reconditioned original specification carburettor will be more expensive but probably better in the long run. 2286cc Diesel, overhead valve, 3 bearing crank: Appeared in 1961 alongside the redesigned 2286cc petrol engine at the start of Series IIA production, and shared its cylinder block and some other components. A big improvement over the earlier diesel: power output now a half decent 62 bhp. But the three bearing crank was a major weak spot: despite being made of better materials than the petrol one, it flexed at high revs and sometimes broke under load with expensive consequences.

While customers wait patiently for JLR to reveal the new Defender, a Japanese tuning company called DAMD have created a unique body kit for the Suzuki Jimny that makes it resemble a Land Rover Defender. Called the 'Little D', the body kit includes nose alterations such as adding another headlight bulb for the Defender's signature trio and "LITTLE D" lettering above the grille, which ditches the Wrangler-like vertical slats for horizontal bars. Also included is a larger front bumper with a more prominent skid plate, while mud flaps, knobby off-road tires, bare spare tire, and the angled rear bumper made to look like the Defender's visible chassis complete the look. The Jimny's boxy profile remains as do the wheel arches and roof cap. Of course, if a little Defender is a bit too average for your taste then DAMD also offer a G-Class body kit for your Jimny. The 鈥楲ittle G鈥?is much the same as the 鈥楲ittle D鈥?with the body kit designed to resemble the much bigger Mercedes G-Class. This is not the first time DAMD have fitted custom body kits to popular Japanese cars, having previously tinkered with a Mazda MX-5, Toyota GT 86 and a Subaru WRX STi. Prices for both the 鈥楲ittle D鈥?and 鈥楲ittle G鈥?are yet to be announced although both are slated for a 2019 release date. Customers interested can register with the website to receive further information when it comes online. Do you like the idea of having a tiny Defender or G-Class?

Definitely want to find out all the small details first. Especially the towing one. 5400 warranty besides the price? Were the tires balanced when they were put on? Do you have any issues driving, vibrations, driving sidewaysish? How much of a difference in tire wear? I'm not sure if you can adjust anything on the rear.. It sounds like they are "toed in"? Perhaps if the warranty covers stuff like this it might not be a bad idea, really comes down to little things. Are you going through a dealer to get the warranty or third party? Thanks for the info. There are no driving issues in this vehicle at all. It drives really smooth. There is a slight whirring sound on acceleration in first gear. I have heard this before in Volvos, and since this has a Volvo engine I assumed it was just the way it sounds. As far as the rear wheels. The tread is just slightly more worn on the inside of the tire than the outside.
