The Amur Leopard

The Amur Leopard

Lensrolling to my Scottish Wildcat. There are presently around 300 Amur leopards in the European and North-American zoo breeding programs. Are there some pairs in zoos to keep the species going? I think it is wonderful that you found this in a search and hope it was helpful for your degree. But I am hoping I have them all correctly labeled properly as "leopard" or "amur leopard" as the amur leopard photos are from the alta website. What a beautiful animal! You have truly done it justice by getting the word out about it's need for help. Big Cat Rescue is one of my favorite charities. You are blessing the animals with your compassion and I am blessing this lens. Thanks Linda for highlighting these endangered big cats. Thank you for doing such a terrific job too. I especially love the baby photos from the zoos around the world - sooo cute! It makes me so happy that you both love this site! Excellent photos. I love this lens. You are so very welcome, thanks for taking the time to leave a note!

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is recalling 44,000 cars in the UK after regulators found 10 models were emitting more carbon dioxide (CO2) than they had been certified to emit. JLR said it was a voluntary recall of certain 2016-2019 model year Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles fitted with 2.0-litre diesel or petrol engines. Affected models include some 2.0-litre 2016 to 2018 Land Rover Discovery and Discovery Sport models; certain 2.0-litre Range Rover Evoque, Sport, and Velar cars; and Jaguar E-Pace, F-Pace, F-Type, XE and XF cars. Most affected models are petrol, while some are diesel. The manufacturer said that some of the models will need physical repairs in a dealership, while some will need software updates. JLR spokesman told the BBC. The carmaker says it will contact owners to arrange repairs. The emissions recall comes at a difficult time for the company. It recently announced it will cut 4,500 jobs globally, as part of its 'Charge and Accelerate' programme.

Well, know you can, because the all-new 2020 Defender has just been revealed at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show and for the first time in decades, it is actually an all-new model. The Defender joins an already crowded Land Rover lineup with similarly-priced models like the more practical Discovery and the more luxurious Range Rover Velar. It may seem like Land Rover is trying to slice the SUV pie a bit too thin, but automakers like Jeep and Toyota have proved people are willing to pay top dollar for luxuriously appointed off-roaders. The old Defender basically felt like driving farm equipment but this new model should attract a new generation of off-road enthusiasts. There are bound to be people out there who hate this new Defender, purely based on the fact it isn't the old Defender (which looked basically the same for decades). But we are in love with this new design, which reminds us of all the best retro off-roaders like the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen and Toyota FJ Cruiser.

With the longer body the engine displacement was increased from 3.9 to 4.2 liters; a small change in size that made a noticeable difference in takeoff. With their plush interiors many people saw those cars as 鈥淏ritish Suburbans.鈥?They were well loved from the moment they were introduced. The 1993 models were the first Land Rovers to come to American with air suspension instead of steel springs. The system was popular at first but as the trucks aged it became problematic, and most trucks were converted to coil springs. For 1995 all Range Rovers received the dual-airbag dashboard from the Discovery, a change most people saw as an improvement. That dash made the 1995 trucks unique and they remain the most desirable of the Range Rover Classics today. 10-20k price range. LWB models tend to fetch a bit more than standard wheelbase models. With their finer leather interiors and more complex body structure the cost of restoring Range Rover Classics is higher than similar costs for Discovery II models.
