Land Rover has finally dropped the curtains off the latest iteration of its revered off-roader, the Defender, at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show. Sales for the 2020 Defender will begin with the 5-door version while the 3-door Defender is scheduled to enter showrooms by the end of this year globally. It will also get a choice of four accessory packs: Explorer, Adventure, Country and Urban. These packs come with extra features such as electronic winches, rooftop tents and more. The 2020 Defender has a neo-retro design language, retaining the boxy layout and style elements from its predecessor such as the squared-off wheel arches, high-set bonnet, and even the Alpine windows.





If you do it with our friends ; I promise you will have lots for your money to remember for many years to come. A sport out here that has not been ruined by having to be so dam good at dressage, instead it concentrates on offering you an exhilarating few days on your horse. Suddenly 鈥榖eing good 鈥榓t dressage is only a tiny par to fit all! I might after all take up the sport again as it cannot be compared to UK evening, where the fun has gone out of it all; its nowadays all so dam serious. People who have their own light aircraft out here, mainly have one for necessity not prestige. If you are forewarned your forearmed! You may choose to treat yourself to a light aircraft journey or two out here. That鈥檚 fun too..and in my opinion well worth the spend! Far better value than most posh lodges. Most people coming into the Mara to go to the smart lodges; fly in to the private airstrips. If I had my way I would fly one way and drive the other and have the best of both worlds..and camp at least most of the time. I WILL LEAVE IT WITH YOU..





The example for the standard on road mode is set to 33 PSI in the front, 36 PSI in the rear. These pressures are very similar to what is listed on the placard for the current Land Rover Discovery, which uses the same platform that will underpin the Defender. Going further into the various modes, we see that there is also a 鈥淗igh Load Mode鈥?which pumps the tires up to 40 PSI or more, presumably to handle extra weight. As expected, there are various examples of off-road modes which take the pressures down to a range between 20 and 26 PSI depending on mode. There is also a 鈥淩ecovery Mode鈥?which takes the pressures all the way down to 17 PSI, useful for maximizing the contact patch in extremely loose sand or gravel. The integration of the system would allow it to work with ABS and stability control, allowing those systems to tailor their intervention to altered tire pressures and different driving scenarios.
