The black leather interior is soft, supple and luxurious and dare I say in mint condition, and it has a leather steering wheel and wood tone shifter and accents for an added touch of luscious. The sunroof is a perk youll enjoy again and again and it has a handy roof rack for carrying whatever you want to load on. Good tires on alloy wheels are part of this durable and versatile VW Passat package. Here's an SUV with 4x4 control and power to spare!

LR doesn't at all. We saw more people screwed by LR certified and Apco then some of the more shadier ones. Trust me before I got into Dodge, I asked the warrantee inspector from all the inspection companies what company is the easiest for the customer and worth its weight. He said Chrysler warrantee is the easiest and the best. Honestly I wouldn't of believed him till I saw the proof. CHrysler is easier and more honest. They repair with bulletins, they repair water leaks and damage from water leaks. LR doesn't at all. We saw more people screwed by LR certified and Apco then some of the more shadier ones. I can get a Chrysler extended warranty for a Land Rover? If I were to go with one of these third party warranties, can I take the LR2 to the mechanic of my choice? Or does it have to be a dealership?

The optional air suspension, when needed, adds two inches of ground clearance 鈥?to nearly 10 inches 鈥?though we did most of this road at the normal height. Yet, as good as the Velar is off-road, it鈥檚 even better on the road. Rare is the SUV program that takes you down twisty mountain roads more suited for sports cars than sport utilities. But on the way to and from the off-road portion, we鈥檙e carving through switchbacks as though we were in a Jaguar instead of a Land Rover. The San Bernardino National Forest and Mount San Jacinto National Park offer some amazing, twisty tarmac. The handling was outstanding, with nicely weighted steering, good feedback, instant steering response and minimal body roll. There is little coincidence on the choice of our base camp for this journey, the L鈥橦orizon Resort and Spa in Palm Springs. Land Rover design chief Gerry McGovern draws on the architecture of this SoCal hotspot for his designs, which he calls modern, reductive and lacking ornamentation. Many of the homes around here follow that mantra, using crisp lines, simple colour palettes, scale and proportion to create simple elegance.

The LR2 was a completely new vehicle for 2008, and carries into this year with just a few changes in appearance. Design cues, such as the front-fender vents, echo those of its bigger brothers, the LR3 and Range Rover Sport, but the 2009 Land Rover LR2 is more rakish, practical, and carlike. The 3.2-liter inline-six powers the 2009 Land Rover LR2 to 60 mph in 8.4 seconds; it's coupled to a smooth-shifting and responsive six-speed automatic transmission, with a manual mode and a sport mode for better response. It鈥檚 especially snappy and responsive for highway passing, while it also has enough low-end torque for modest off-road needs. Unlike most of its competitors, the 2009 Land Rover LR2 does not include a four-wheel-drive low range鈥攚hich many hard-core trail drivers will say is the true indicator of an off-road-capable vehicle. Both storage and passenger space are abundant in the 2009 Land Rover LR2. In back there's enough space for two adults or three children.

If there is a lot of play then it is advisable to get this changed as soon as possible. How much will it cost? The differential centre bush and fitting should not cost more than about 拢80. Unfortunately it is quite common on the Freelander to have problems with the windows, doors and sunroof - so check these things. If the sunroof does not work quite often the best thing to do is to take out the fuse and leave it shut! This way you know you will not end up with a sunroof half open that you just can't get closed again. If the sunroof on the Freelander does work then make sure you open and close it regularly to stop it ceasing up. Check that all the doors open and lock on the fob. The first click of the fob will open just the drivers door, the second click should open all the doors including the tailgate one.
