My Personal Struggle With Slow Writing And Useful Suggestions To Improve Word-Productivity
My name is 鈥淒ave Anthony鈥?and I鈥檓 a slow writer. How slow you ask? Well, by the time I鈥檝e finished writing this piece, most writers would have completed their novel, and probably a sequel to their novel. And, I鈥檓 talking about people who started writing the exact same time I started. Even George R.R. Martin would have completed at least two new books in his fantasy 鈥淎 Song of Ice and Fire鈥?series, by the time I鈥檓 done with this piece. Yes, I鈥檓 the slowest of slow writers. I鈥檝e watched, listened to, and read many tutorials on writing, and they all say to be prolific. Write and write a lot. Recently I watched a YouTube video on how to write a novel in two months. It鈥檚 all about planning, routine, consistency, and writing 2,000 to 3,000 words at each sit down. Full disclosure; I am working on the first three categories of that sage advice, and if I were a teacher, I鈥檇 give myself a B-minus on 鈥減lanning鈥? 鈥渞outine鈥?and 鈥渃onsistency鈥? But the 鈥渢wo to three thousand words鈥?
When you pay that much for a vehicle, you鈥檙e probably more likely to drive on well-paved roads, rather than rocky trails where it could sustain body damage. 50,900. The cable termination at the starter connector was partly melted. The photo below shows the whole cable, out of the car, and an undamaged termination at the other end. Note that these terminations are not generic battery or ring lugs, but special connectors for this one application. So the repair calls for a genuine Porsche parts, not generic wire and connectors from the shelf. As soon as the cable was installed the voltages rose to normal at the battery, and they were uniform at all points from front to rear. That one failing junction led to all this trouble. Next time you see a car with low battery resting voltage, and low charge voltage, remember it's not always the alternator or the battery. As cars age we need to be mindful of something we often take for granted: Sometimes the wiring itself will fail. This problem was resolved by Bruce Caron at Robison Service.
It took LR Dallas 4 weeks to get us in because we requested a loaner car. LR Dallas kept our vehicle for 3 weeks, and when it was returned, we noticed epoxy drips all over the paint due to glueing the trim. Ana, the service (service used loosely here) advisor told us that they are not responsible and will buff out the epoxy if we paid for it. After several complaints, LR Dallas finally buffed out the epoxy marks. Fast forward 4 months, and Hubby smells antifreeze. We call Ana, who told us to bring in the vehicle. We were told to make ourselves comfortable in the waiting area because it will only be one hour. By the time we sat down with coffee, Ana tells us that it will be two hours and that she will give us a ride to Northpark Mall to have lunch. About 3 hours later, Ana tells us that the water pump needs to be replaced on the Discovery Sport with around 25,000 miles.

SITUATION: POOR RADIO RECEPTION MAY BE PRESENT ON EITHER THE AM OR FM ANALOGUE RADIO BAND. ISSUE: A CUSTOMER MAY REPORT THAT WHEN TRYING TO ACCESS THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM THEY HAVE ERRORS OR THE SYSTEM FREEZES ON THE ? ISSUE: A CUSTOMER MAY REPORT THAT WHEN TRYING TO ACCESS THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM THEY HAVE ERRORS OR THE SYSTEM FREEZES ON THE ?
