It was none other than Bill Oddy, waving and driving on to see 鈥榦ur lions鈥?No doubt a warden or some other spotter had tipped him the wink where they were to be found. We found them ourselves without any help thank you! Several hours later Mr Oddy was still in the same spot. Maybe you will see those same lions on the TV someday after his hard work filming session! Once we drove down to Tanzania and back; the border with the two countries being a few stones here in the Mara. We did need to show our passports. It鈥檚 sad to say, but true also that the highlight of mine and Tid鈥檚 Mara viewing this trip was not actually lions, hippos or anything else other than a zebra foal! The three of us that same day were driving along in our beloved black and white Land rover; very slowly when suddenly a very new born foal was rushing towards our vehicle.
