Range Rover Offers Limited, Luxurious SV Coupe To Atlanta Market
If you want to attract the most gazes at the school carpool line, Range Rover might be able to help with that. The British car company is introducing its most expensive and luxurious model to date - the 2019 Range Rover SV Coupe. Range Rover will only produce 999 of these hand-built family vehicles. One of the Range Rover SV Coupes was on exclusive display at Land Rover Buckhead last week. 鈥淎tlanta is one of the biggest car markets in the country,鈥?said Lorraine McKiniry with the Experiential Marketing Team at Jaguar Land Rover. 鈥淧eople here like their exclusive cars. They like their Land Rovers. The Range Rover SV Coupe program is also unique in that it allows owners to customize the vehicle with a variety of 鈥渄esign pack鈥?options. Customers can design a Coupe with a more traditional Range Rover look or give their vehicle a little more contemporary bling. 鈥淭he Range Rover SV Coupe is a celebration of the Range Rover bloodline,鈥?said Gerry McGovern, chief design officer for Land Rover and the designer of the vehicle at Land Rover Buckhead. After the model vehicle leaves Atlanta, it will continue on its tour through the summer, visiting cities including Miami, Los Angeles, and others. The coupe is powered by a 557 hp 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine, which is the most powerful engine currently offered on the full-size Range Rover, according to the company. Officials say the SV Coupe can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just five seconds and has a top speed around 165 mph. 鈥淭his is a meticulously honed vehicle that鈥檚 designed for SV clients who love driving,鈥?said Mark Stanton, special vehicle operations director. The Jaguar Land Rover Veteran Careers Program assists JLRNA in placing talented and experienced U.S. Military Veterans (or currently serving members of the National Guard & Reserve) with Jaguar Land Rover Retailers in the USA. Similarly, the JLRC Canadian Ex-Military Program assists former members of the Canadian Armed Forces with the opportunity to connect with a JLRC Retailer career in Canada. Former military technicians are an excellent talent source to provide superior quality service and support to high performance, premium luxury automobiles and 4 wheel drive vehicles. We desire highly motivated and talented military Veterans and Ex-Military members who are seeking a challenging and rewarding new career in the luxury and performance automobile industry. Experienced automotive service technicians who already have three or more years of professional experience, will find the FAST PACE program to be an excellent gateway to renewed growth and new opportunities as a certified Jaguar Land Rover Technician.
From the 2008 model year through 2012, the LR2 came with a 3.2-liter in-line six-cylinder engine that let it accelerate to 60 mph in about 8.4 seconds, within the range of other compact luxo-utes. The engine came coupled to a six-speed automatic with clean, effortless gear shifts, and it offered a manual-shift and a sport-shift mode. The LR2's Haldex all-wheel-drive system moves power around to all four corners, but it lacks the low-range transfer case of its big brother the LR4. The LR2 does have more than 8 inches of ground clearance, though. Having undergone only minor changes in its first five years on the market, the LR2 received a mid-cycle makeover for the 2013 model year. It still sports the crisp lines that distinguish it from the softer Audi, Volvo and BMW utes, and it's easily recognizable as a part of the Land Rover heritage on a smaller scale.
While some said that the car will get a bigger update than anticipated, we are very certain this isn鈥檛 the situation. The Discovery Sport is new, it looks keeping pace with their most recent models and it feels at least somewhat premium. The 2020 update will doubtlessly add to the range two or three new engines and additionally some new trim levels. The just a single we are certain of is the superior variation of the car. The smooth lines covered up by the wrap appear to indicate that the new car will get the adjusted, flush-fitting grille that we previously observed fitted to the full-sized Discovery. The new 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport will come back with a similar V-6 gas and diesel unit. The base will be a 3.0-liter V-6 turbocharged engine which produces 340 ponies and 332 pound-feet of torque. It is mated to a 8-speed programmed transmission and accompanies full-time all-wheel drive design.
STAY AWAY from Jaguar of Dallas. Wow, where do we start with the horrendous NEGATIVE STAR service experience at Land Rover Dallas? Hubby's less than 2 year old Discovery Sport's first warranty issue began with a check engine light and loose trim. It took LR Dallas 4 weeks to get us in because we requested a loaner car. LR Dallas kept our vehicle for 3 weeks, and when it was returned, we noticed epoxy drips all over the paint due to glueing the trim. Ana, the service (service used loosely here) advisor told us that they are not responsible and will buff out the epoxy if we paid for it. After several complaints, LR Dallas finally buffed out the epoxy marks. Fast forward 4 months, and Hubby smells antifreeze. We call Ana, who told us to bring in the vehicle. We were told to make ourselves comfortable in the waiting area because it will only be one hour.
