LAND ROVER FREELANDER COOLANT LEAK LEADS TO ENGINE FAILURE

LAND ROVER FREELANDER COOLANT LEAK LEADS TO ENGINE FAILURE

THE 2002-2005 LAND ROVER FREELANDER HAS BEEN PLAQUED WITH PROBLEMS, COOLANT LEAK AND OVERHEATING USUALLY LEAD TO HEAD GASKET OR ENGINE FAILURE. HERE ARE SOME TYPICAL COMPLAINTS. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 LAND ROVER FREELANDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE OVERHEATED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED ON. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE MECHANIC FOR INSPECTION WHO CONFIRMED THAT THE ENGINE COOLANT WAS CONSUMING PREMATURELY AND THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF A LEAK. THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT, THE WATER PUMP, AND THE MOTOR FAN REGULATOR; HOWEVER THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE YEAR IS ACCURATE,MONTH AND DATE ARE APPROXIMATIONS STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH OVERHEATING AND COOLANT LEAKS. COOLANT WOULDN'T PUDDLE UNDER VEHICLE,THOUGH.BUT I COULD SMELL IT SOMETIMES WITH WINDOWS OPEN. THEN,ONE DAY IT WOULD NOT START. TOWED IT TO LAND ROVER DEALER AND OVER THE COURSE OF 3 DAYS,THEY COULDN'T START IT,EITHER. NOW,WITH 104,000 MILES,IT'S LOSING COOLANT,AGAIN. THEY CLAIMED THE OVER FLOW CONTAINER WAS LEAKING. OR, COULD THE LEMON LAW COME INTO EFFECT?

The 2009 BMW X5 is BMW's midsize SUV, and one of their top selling vehicle lines. The X5 debuted in the 1999 model year as BMW's first SUV and caught a major upgrade in the 2007 model year. The newer version is bigger, more powerful and more responsive than previous versions. The 2009 year model remains pretty much unchanged from 2007. With its classic looks every inch of the X5 screams BMW, and the handling has been designed to match. There are three "trims" for the X5, but they are based on the engine, not the looks. The xDrive30i has a gasoline powered 3.0 liter, 260 horsepower I6. Drive35d is a turbocharged 3.5 liter, 265 horsepower diesel. The xDrive48i is a 4.8 liter, gasoline powered V8 with 350 horsepower. The only transmission is a six-speed automatic with overdrive. The X5 with the I6 gasoline engine gets 15 miles per gallon in the city and 21 miles per gallon on the highway. Subtract only a couple miles per gallon for the V8 engine.

The cranberry body with silver tone wheel wells is in good condition, the only apology being a typical minor scuff on the passenger side front bumper. The dove grey velour interior is clean, comfy and attractive, with a leather steering wheel and shifter for a good handling grip. Tinted windows offer privacy and the roof rack will hold your skis or whatever you want to load on. It rolls with good rugged name brand tires on alloy wheels and is a versatile. SUV that will take you to adventure no matter what the weather after you make the winning bid! They say Hondas last "forever" and this automatic 4 cylinder Accord looks like it's received the care and maintenance to follow suit! The silver body is in good condition and the charcoal velour interior is soft, fuzzy, clean and attractive. The sunroof lets you moon watch or catch some rays and the leather steering wheel and shifter give you a good handling grip.

Directly below, the graphic-heavy climate control system is lifted straight from the Velar and Jaguar鈥檚 all-electric i-Pace, and while it looks fantastic, raises concern about functionality, as many manufacturers have had trouble with touchscreen-heavy systems over traditional buttons and knobs. The gauge cluster also gets a fully-digital treatment, displaying a full-size navigation map if selected by the driver. It鈥檚 no proper Range Rover in terms of go-anywhere capability, but the Evoque鈥檚 updated platform offers some impressive off-road credentials, at least on paper. All-wheel drive is standard, as is the Terrain Response 2 system that can automatically detect the type of surface the Evoque is being driven on, as well as the option to select traction settings for sand, gravel, snow, and more. Like almost any luxury SUV, the Evoque is still powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and an updated version of the ZF 9-speed automatic transmission in the outgoing model. Sustainability is in vogue, and the Evoque makes the most of the trend, boasting 72.8 pounds total of natural and recycled material, including wool and synthetic suede upholstery that uses 53 recycled plastic bottles per vehicle. A Eucalyptus-based textile is available as well, for those that have koala-like tastes.
