Other technical changes include the fitting of the more powerful brakes from the Range Rover Sport and thicker anti-roll bars to improve on-road handling. The electronic handling system have been updated - the Stability Control System now includes a programme that detects the onset of understeer and applies the brakes. The D4 retains its predecessor's fully independent air suspension with cross-linking when off-road and the twin-range transfer gearbox with an electronic infinitely-variable locking centre differential. As before a similar locking rear differential is available. The 2.7-litre TDV6 engine was available in Europe on the basic 2.7 GS passenger and 2010 Commercial ranges. Unlike the D3 base model this is equipped with air suspension and the Terrain Response system. The automatic transmission is an option on this model. The 3.0-litre Gen III model (only with automatic transmission) is also available in the GS trim level. The Discovery 4 also features a redesigned interior (again in keeping with the new styles introduced elsewhere in the LR range for 2010). The instrument cluster is updated with the speedometer and tachometer analogue gauges being redesigned to improve clarity. The analogue temperature and fuel gauges of the previous model, and the electronic information display are replaced by a single TFT screen capable of displaying information in a variety of modes and formats. The interior also has a new centre console, which includes redesigned and simplified switches and controls. The Discover also has a new seat design and a wider range of available interior materials-some (such as the highly polished 'Piano Black' and wood veneer) are materials previously only seen in Range Rover models. The stated aim of the interior redesign was to lift the vehicle upmarket, especially the higher-spec models which are now aimed at the luxury and executive markets. In a January 2011 comparison test by Car and Driver, the Land Rover LR4 came in fourth place out of five cars behind the Audi Q7,BMW X5, and Acura MDX.

I will be traveling to Panama City in late December with my family (wife and two older kids). After reading the forum posts and doing lots of internet research, here's what I've come up with for a schedule. It would be great to hear suggestions on this itinerary (what have I missed? what might not be realistic from a Christmas holiday perspective?). Dec 26th How late will a local market be open? DEC 24: Spend the day walking/seeing the sites in Casco Viejo and Cinta Costera (will churches be open for visiting during the day? I will pick up a rental car near my hotel in the late afternoon. DEC 26: Drive to Gamboa, try to arrange for a local guide for a tour of Monkey Island in the morning (I saw several posts with suggestions on how to to do this). Do you think a local guide would be available the day after Christmas? OR should I work with a formal tour agency to explore my options?

Chrysler Dealer Diagnostic tools. Hi all, just thought I'd show a quick little video I took of my android tablet showing some live OBD data on my P38 idling in the drive. A diagnostic port is also known as an OBD2 port or EOBD port which is used for the purpose of communicating with a vehicle to diagnose faults or reprogram modules within the vehicle. A wide variety of key programmer land rover options are available to you, such as code reader, engine analyzer, and battery tester. Tabscan S8 Pro 馃敶 馃憠 supports late st Porsche and JLR DoIP models 馃憠 Dual-mode diagnosis 馃憠 Supports coding and lots of service. The T4 Diagnostic System for Land Rovers allows the use of proven TestBook diagnostic software while providing. JLR mangoose for Jaguar and Land Rover are now fully supported for dealer level diagnostic s these feature black paint from the beltline up and a choice of nine colours for the lower half of the car. These options are exclusive to the SVAutobiography model. Verdicts don鈥檛 come much closer, but the Range Rover takes victory here. In the world of luxury SUVs, the SVAutobiography still sets the standard. Interior quality is on par with the Bentley, plus there are far more surprise and delight details. It鈥檚 not as fast and agile as its rival, but it鈥檚 still searingly quick and composed, plus it鈥檚 refined and peerless off-road. It鈥檚 the ultimate luxury all-rounder. The Bentayga represents a strong first SUV effort for Bentley. Explosive performance, agile handling and strong refinement are major strengths, as is the ability to tailor the car鈥檚 looks and interior. It just doesn't have the Range Rover鈥檚 sense of occasion or kit count. The Bentayga is hugely polished, but it drives too much like a top-spec Audi Q7, which costs 拢90,000 less.
