The Land Rover Range Rover is a full-size luxury SUV that's good enough for royalty (British, chiefly) or to rally across the spine of South America. With the Range Rover, Land Rover offers a supercharged V-6 or V-8 engines, or a turbodiesel V-6. A longer wheelbase model was added that underscores the luxurious life that many Range Rovers now live. Most owners would say the Land Rover Range Rover is without rival, but it has some fierce competition as a luxury good, sometimes mentioned in the same breath with the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and GLS-Class, the Cadillac Escalade, and the Bentayga. The Range Rover was most recently revamped for the 2013 model year. It's now built on an aluminum architecture, which sheds 700 pounds from the five-seat SUV. It also enables a 4.5-inch stretch in wheelbase for much better rear-seat room on the standard-length model, with overall length up just over an inch.

Another issue might be excessive crankshaft play. Let鈥檚 hope excessive wear of the crankshaft is not the cause but it should be checked to rule that out as a possible cause. Apparently, the Discovery Sport test mule had 鈥渉ybrid鈥?written on a yellow sticker on the windshield. If there are any updates to the Discovery Sport鈥檚 interior, they鈥檒l probably be minimal at best. It鈥檚 defined by its luxury touches, a lot of which can be had as optional add-ons like the twin-needle-stitched leather, genuine metal interior trim, configurable mood lighting, and multi-zone climate control, among others. The dashboard layout offers a nice blend of refinement and functionality, but I wouldn鈥檛 be opposed to Land Rover getting rid of the some of the knobs, buttons, and switches in favor of a more streamlined unit. Perhaps another digital display that can house all these functions? Space shouldn鈥檛 be an issue on the facelifted Discovery Sport. As it stands, the facelifted model will sit on a heavily updated version of Land Rover鈥檚 D8 platform.
I also found that cooking shows are a product placement heaven. Both Take Home Chef and Rachel Ray鈥檚 talk show featured several brand named food items. My favorites, ofcourse, were the prime time dramas and comedies. What can I say, I鈥檓 the typical college girl. I loved spotting brands in the Black Donnelly鈥檚 (which was cancelled too soon if you ask me), Desperate Housewives and HBO鈥檚 Entourage. I must say Desperate had the most effective PP by associating each main housewife with their car. Lucky for me, this semester landed smack in the middle of the award season. Both the Grammy鈥檚 and the Oscars had very little product placement. This is a shame because with the Hollywood presence and celebrity appeal, many high-end brands would have fit beautifully within the star-struck guests. Another major point that I liked to touch upon were the recent trends surrounding product placement. The one I mentioned like a broken record was ofcourse DVR: my love of it, and the need for more integrated marketing such as product placement because of it.
