Displacement of the first models was 1,600 cc. The Buick-sourced all aluminium Rover V8 engine. 1,997 cc Petrol, inlet-over-exhaust: Series I engine, carried over for the first few months of Series II production. 2,052 cc Diesel, overhead-valve: Land Rover's first diesel engine, and one of the first small high-speed diesels produced in the UK. It appeared in 1957, and was used in Series II production until 1961. Looks almost identical to the later 2,286 cc engine, but many internal differences. It produced 51 bhp (38 kW). 2,286 cc Diesel, overhead-valve, three-bearing crank: Appeared in 1961 alongside the redesigned 2,286 cc petrol engine at the start of Series IIA production, and shared its cylinder block and some other components. It produced 62 bhp (46 kW). 2,625 cc Petrol, inlet-over-exhaust: Borrowed from the Rover saloon range, in response to demands from mid-1960s Land Rover users for more power and torque. 2,286 cc petrol/diesel, overhead-valve type 11J: five-bearing crank: In 1980, Land Rover finally did something about the crank failures which had plagued its four-cylinder engines for 22 years.

I used 1/8 steel from an old American-style household oil tank. I have lots of this material left over from making a smoker out of the oil tank earlier in the year. Make this patch 5 and 7/8 inches tall to allow it to be welded to the edge of the six-inch tall frame, which edge is itself a weld and thus thicker, stronger metal. Weld this patch all the way around, but use a lower setting for the sides than for the top and the bottom. Sixty amps is fine, slow, but gets the job done without burning gratuitous holes in your frame. Here's the cleaned-up frame on my truck, ready for repair. Here's what a completed patch should look like. In my case a patch was required on the passenger side but not the driver's side. Don't cover the frame holes if you can help it. These are useful for spraying corrosion inhibitor inside the frame. Once the patch is in place, or not, you need to grind it level and then you're ready for the new outrigger.

This way your guests get to meet new people and may be prone to having more fun. With 30 people you will need many tables, so having helpers is very important. I would suggest having at least 5 helpers/waiters for 30 people. Each helper will be responsible for 1 table of 6 guests. As everyone is seated you then explain how the dinner will happen. Each helper will be standing at the head of each table, holding the menu鈥檚. After your explanation your helper will then give each guest a menu with a pencil. Having them put their name on each menu will help the waiter remember what goes to who. They will be allowed to order 5 items each course. As the item is ordered it will be crossed off the list, so it cannot be ordered again. Using plain white paper for your menu is probably the least expensive and best, for these will most likely never be used again. You will need several 鈥榤aster copy鈥?menu鈥檚 placed around the area where the food is to be served.

Fuel economy for the frugal Mazda shows as 28-mpg city and 39-mpg highway. Refreshed for the current model year, the 2015 Ford Focus Titanium combines many of Ford's different options packages for the compact sedan and hatchback. You can also order the Titanium Technology package, which includes extra safety gear, as well as the option of a sunroof, a navigation system, and even an automatic parking feature. The Focus Titanium's engine is the same 2.0-liter, four-cylinder mill found with the base model, which means 160 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque, and buyers can choose between either a five-speed manual or a six-speed dual-clutch automated manual gearbox. Fuel economy for the Titanium is listed at 27-mpg city and 37-mpg highway. The 2015 Acura ILX is a compact economy car with definite luxury leanings, which means that even entry-level editions are quite well-equipped. The 2.4 Premium Package includes a 201 horsepower, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that is also good for 170 lb-ft of torque. Unusual in its class, this top-shelf Acura is only offered with a six-speed manual transmission, and fuel efficiency checks in at 22-mpg around town and 31-mpg during highway cruising.

It has become too easy to be consistently amazed by the Dodge Grand Caravan's absolute domination of the Canadian minivan sector. 54% of all minivans sold in Canada in September 2011 were Grand Caravans. That's during a month in which Grand Caravan sales actually slid, though only by 18 units, a mere fraction of the Grand Caravan's total. But again, we could go on and on about the champion month after month after month. It's not as though minivans form the most interesting subject to begin with, but after discussing the same amazing Grand Caravan feats each time this post is published, it gets even more tiresome. So consider the true minivans for a moment, the Mazda 5 and Kia Rondo. No longer on sale in the United States because of a lack of interest, the Rondo continues to sell in decent numbers in Canada even as it drives by its best before date. Rondo sales fell by only four units in September but are down 7% through the first nine months of 2011. Kia has sold 5246 Rondos in Canada this year. That beats the Mazda 5 by 196 units. Mazda 5 sales slid 31% in September and are off by 18% this year. Both the Rondo and the Mazda 5 have a new rival from General Motors. Chevrolet sold 83 Orlandos in September, the Orlando's first month on sale. What you didn't see in the list of best-selling trucks was the Cadillac Escalade EXT, sales of which rose 33% in September. Neither did you see the Chevrolet Colorado, sales of which tumbled 34% last month. GMC Canyon sales slid 35%. The defunct Dodge Dakota was down 84%. The Honda Ridgeline narrowly missed out on Canada's worst-selling vehicles list with a 66% decline.
