Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC is proud to announce the 32 U.S. 2016/17 Pride of Jaguar and Land Rover Pinnacle Retailer Excellence awards. The Pride of Jaguar and Land Rover Pinnacle awards are given annually to retailers who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence and the Jaguar and Land Rover brands. Last year, sixteen retailers were selected from each brand based upon their top performance in core business categories including customer advocacy, sales and business excellence. In 2016, Jaguar Land Rover U.S. U.S. sales up 24 percent for the two brands combined. For the Land Rover brand, U.S. 5 percent from 2015 and record sales of the Range Rover Sport. The Jaguar brand more than doubled its volume with sales up 116 percent from 2015, driven by breakout performances of three new models: the F-PACE, XE and XF. The Jaguar F-PACE performance SUV became the brand鈥檚 top seller in its first year.
Jaguar Land Rover has loaned a specially modified Discovery Sport to Rapid Response NGO for disaster-related relief work. With this donation, the company is celebrating the completion of its 10 successful years in India. Jaguar Land Rover India has joined hands with Rapid Response which is an NGO that specialises in disaster management and relief. The vehicle provided will be used in the emergency services as a first responder in the rescue and medical assistance, and food distribution to the vulnerable communities in natural crisis across the country. To serve its purpose better, the SUV donated to the NGO is equipped with additional features such as a luggage carrier, luggage partition, tow rope and more, to ensure immediate assistance in affected areas. The Land Rover Discovery Sport measures 4,600 mm in length, 1,690 mm in height and 2,173 mm in width. It has a 2,741 mm wheelbase. It is available in India with a 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine in two states of tune and a 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol engine. In the Pure, SE and HSE grades, the diesel engine develops 150 PS and 382 Nm of torque. In the HSE Luxury grade, on the other hand, the maximum power and maximum torque of the diesel engine are 179 PS and 430 Nm respectively. The petrol engine churns out 240 PS of maximum power and 340 Nm of peak torque. The Land Rover Discovery Sport is available in Pure 5-seat diesel, SE 7-seat diesel, HSE 7-seat diesel and HSE Luxury 7-seat diesel configurations. A 9-speed automatic gearbox and a four-wheel drive system are offered as standard.

BOUGHT CAR USED IN FALL 09, HAD SEVERAL WHAT SEEMED LIKE NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR REPAIRS. THERE WAS NO WARRANTY ON IT AS I BOUGHT IT FROM ANOTHER OWNER. EARLY MAY '11 THE OIL LIGHT CAME ON BUT I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT IT WAS. I ARRIVED AT MY DESTINATION. ON THE WAY HOME IT CAME ON AGAIN AND AS I WAS 2 BLOCKS AWAY FROM HOME THE CAR JUST SLOWED AND CAME TO A STOP. MONTH STINCH IN THE SHOP, WITH THE ENGINE NEEDING TO BE REBUILT. THIS WAS DONE BY MY MECHANIC. I WISHED I HAD READ THE INFO LISTED HERE PRIOR TO THE PURCHASE OR EVEN A YEAR AGO. LAST WINTER THE COOLANT CONSTANTLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED LIKE EVERY FEW DAYS AND THE CAR WAS OVER HEATING. MY MECHANIC SAID THE HOSES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.

An optional cooling box in the center console makes sure you'll always have cool snacks. You should also keep car insurance for your Land Rover in mind. All cars are assigned a car insurance group number based on risk. Whether you've decided you want a Discovery yet or you're still thinking, don't let all the features overwhelm you. Not all of these features come standard. In fact, adding all the features available from the cooler to the speaker system can considerably increase the price. Keep this in mind when you are making a decision if price is an important factor. A dealer will be able to go over accessories and options with you when you are ready to make a purchase.
