The 2019 Kia Telluride SX V6 AWD
2020 Kia Telluride SX V6 AWD. This is Kia's first large SUV in a decade. The previous attempt was the short-lived Kia Borrego, which we drove in the fall of 2008 and said could have been a serious contender to the Ford Explorer, had it been introduced before the Great Recession instead of during. Barring any drastic upheavals in the world economy, there should be no such problem this time. The 2020 Kia Telluride arrives at a time when big SUVs with premium styling and features are a hot market. 2020 Kia Telluride SX V6 AWD. Kias have become so good that the old "THIS is a Kia?" has pretty much fallen by the wayside, but the Telluride could make that a thing again. 178,000 machine, they succeeded. Active on-demand all-wheel drive. Leather seat trim with heated and ventilated front seats. Blind spot collision avoidance. Parking distance warning forward and rear. Smart cruise control with stop & go. Rear occupant alert with ultrasonic sensors. Smart key with pushbutton start. Ten-inch touchscreen with rearview camera, surround view and blindspot monitor. Your neighbors will guess it's somewhere north of 60 grand or maybe even 70. And that's been the path to success for Kia for the past decade.

I enjoyed the course, it was very demanding and we had a few issues with the steering over the weekend. Another driver celebrating his best-ever BCCC result was Phil Ibbotson who brought his Metro 6R4 home in fourth. 鈥淚t鈥檚 my 30th year of racing and this is my highest BCCC finish,鈥?said Ibbotson. 鈥淚 don鈥檛 usually like the Walters course but this one was enjoyable in a sadistic kind of way! The car ran like a dream鈥? Rounding off the top five was Mike Moran who was another driver having problems with his steering. Toby Jefferson ended up sixth after his good start, his car requiring to be nursed to the finish after suffering a damaged frame. Andy Powell was seventh, a good achievement in a car whose windscreen wipers stopped working. Powell had to operate the wipers manually with a piece of string which slowed him considerably in the awful conditions. Paul Myers and Steve Smith were the remaining finishers, both experiencing problems on day two.
Rotary engines are gone, at least for a while, now that the slow-selling RX-8 has been dropped. Although its styling was an acquired taste for many and its unique powertrain guzzled gas, the RX-8 drove at least as well as the company鈥檚 brilliant MX-5 Miata. A Mazda coupe isn鈥檛 likely to surface any time soon, so buyers will need to be happy with the MX-5 Miata鈥檚 available power-retracting hardtop. Mazda and Ford have essentially split ways, with the Tribute remaining the last vestige of their relationship. But this Ford Escape-based crossover is headed out to pasture. We don鈥檛 think anyone will notice. Sales have been weak, but that鈥檚 not a surprise since it鈥檚 hard to imagine just who would buy one of these antiquated machines when Mazda鈥檚 homegrown CX-7 sat across the showroom. The recently-unveiled CX-5 ushers in a new era for Mazda in a number of ways, not the least of which is a new independence from Ford. Technically, these two compact Volvo four and five-doors aren鈥檛 being discontinued, but they鈥檙e being dropped from the Volvo lineup in the U.S. The V50鈥瞫 departure is especially bitter for Volvophiles since it marks the end of a wagon in Volvo鈥檚 lineup for the first time anyone can remember. These were good cars when launched, but former Volvo owner Ford never gave the brand the money to continue development beyond their 2005 model year introduction. Volvo doesn鈥檛 seem to be courting compact buyers in the U.S., where there鈥檚 just not enough volume to justify importing such a model. For now, its S60 - which really wasn鈥檛 much pricier than the S40 - will be its cheapest four-door.
Do not buy a Land Rover or Range Rover! The cost of ownership is insane. If you do buy one, buy it from anyplace but Land Rover of Dallas. They are extremely expensive as to service, never have the parts, never deliver the service on time and are frankly the most dysfunctional, incompetent bunch of price gouging idiots I have ever dealt with in 40 years of buying cars. Now the people. The cashiers were super nice and tried to make things as good as Hell can be. The service advisor provided sympathy in a calm manner, but he was like a concierge to your Medieval torture experience. The only thing good about Land Rover Dallas is the location. The next nearest dealership is in Frisco. I would crawl to Frisco over burning coals and broken glass before I would go back to Land Rover Dallas. For the second time, I tried to get my car in for service. I was told they could make an appointment for me on March 19th (15 days from today)! What am I to do for 2 weeks. So, I called Autobaun of Ft Worth.
