Writing One Or Two Line Ads
That brings up another question. Are your ads being read? Would you like for your ads to be read? Most people's attention span is very low, especially on the internet. Everyone is always in a hurry, therefore you need to keep it short. After all what are you trying to get people to do with your ad? You want them to visit your site, or an affiliate site and maybe make a purchase, right? You don't need to write a book. Simply tell the people about your offer, but make it tweak their curiosity. We'll talk more about this later. When I read ads, I scan them to get the 'jist' of the ad. What are they trying to tell me? Oh, it's about a Free cell phone, with all the trimmings. I already have a cell phone and I am happy with the service I get. No, I'm not interested. Let's stay with the cell phone ad, for a minute.
Travelling in Haiti as a tourist is a pleasure full of unexpected deviations, surprising discoveries, and rich culture. I'm grateful to be well traveled, but nowhere have I experienced the intimacy and diversity of a new place like I have when traveling around Haiti. My most recent Haiti adventure involved hiking through the Massif de la Selle from Kenscoff just south of Petionville to Jacmel on the coast with fellow Cange ex-pats Nicole Bryant and Jenn Summers. We started off at the Wynne Farm Ecological Reserve, where we learned about some amazing new reforestation and agricultural initiatives in that area. Kenscoff is a wealthy part of Haiti--where many Haitians have second homes (more like estates with names) in the cooler, cleaner air of the high mountains. But even around all of this, poverty is still visible. From Kescoff, we hiked about two hours to Furcy, after stopping in the larger portion of the reserve, where USAID has many projects.
Today Kia Motors has reorganized and now offers vehicles through 640 dealerships throughout the United States. Kia has enjoyed a fair amount of success in the North American market and in 2008 recoded its 14th consecutive year of increased U.S. Kia has enjoyed quite a bit of success in the European market as well. It began importing cars to Europe in 1991. The Pride would be the first model to be offered there and proved quite popular with buyers. Kia maintains a presence in Europe as well. The Kia Motors Europe group is the European sales and marketing division of KIA Motors Corporation. It is now located adjacent to the Messe in Frankfurt, Germany. Kia Motors has been in the European market for just over 16 years. Kia has certainly come a long way since its first offering of just one model. Today, Kia has expanded through midsize and full size sedans to the larger SUV's.
Early vehicles like the Series I were field-tested at Long Bennington and designed to be field-serviced. In 2008, Ford Motor Company sold Jaguar and Land Rover to Tata Motors. Included in the deal were the rights to three other British brands: Jaguar's own Daimler marque, as well as two dormant brands Lanchester and Rover. The Rover brand was originally used under licence by MG Rover until it collapsed in 2005, at which point it was re-acquired by the then Ford Motor Company owned Land Rover Limited. In 1947, Rover's chief designer Maurice Wilks and his associates create a prototype using Jeep chassis and components. In the year 1948, the first Land Rover was officially launched at the Amsterdam Motor Show. In 1958, the Series II launched, which was the first Land Rover to receive the attention of Rover's styling department. In 1961, Series IIA began in the production, and considered by many the most hardy Series model which is constructed.
