Before fitting I could only go up at a max speed of 80kms, yesterday took her up the hill, with no run up at the bottom and she zoomed up at 105-110 kms at 3000 revs no problem. When I pull off on an uphill, the revs are low because there's enough power. It doesn't have to rev high to pull off. Additionally, it doesn't have to continually shift gears in hilly areas. It's so dramatic, that my wife commented that the car is completely different. She's actually now enjoying the drive. Honestly, an exceptional difference. Under a 50/50 joint venture with Chery at Changshu in China Discovery Sports and Evoques are also built. Historically Land Rovers were manufactured primarily at the Solihull plant until production of the Freelander was moved to the Halewood plant.
