Fix Microsoft Word's Most Annoying Grammar Checker Features
If you write anything even remotely technical, you may also be better off turning off the "Wordiness" and "Long Sentence" grammar checks. Of course, turning off the first person (I) check is a must if you are going to write anything personal. If you prefer, you can eliminate the whole swath of "style" checks by setting Word to check grammar only instead of grammar and style. However, I find the other rules tend to pop up much less frequently so that they do not annoy and therefore are a useful tool to ensure that what I typed, was what I meant. Take a few minutes tonight to do something for me, I'm sure you're going to enjoy it, though you might wonder why I'm asking it? At its nearest point, the Moon is 225,000 miles away, but its orbit isn't totally circular and at the furthest point it's 252,000 miles away. Yep, that's right the orbit is more like an egg shape than that of a circle, but things get a little stranger as we go. What's so special about it? Well, its the fact we went there, and what we found that makes the place so special. See until a man stepped on the Moon we thought that it was much like Earth, only without an atmosphere, I mean they're so close they have to be made of the same stuff right? As well as taking men to the Moon, part of the mission remit for the Apollo missions was to bring some of the Moon back to us. Not just a quarter of a ton from one location, but over 2,000 samples from at least six sites, we got a good idea of what the Moon was made of, and what we found blew us away!
The ordinary common shares were to be retained by the company until January 1956, when they were to be offered to the public for the first time. Two years after Henry I's death, in 1949, the company unveiled a number of new automatic styles. But while the cars were practical, and to a degree fashionable, the company no longer appeared to be a pioneer; indeed it gained a reputation, not wholly justified, as being an imitator of General Motors. Regaining its initiative, the Ford Motor Company decided to introduce a new model to fill a gap in the market between the Ford and Lincoln-Mercury lines. In 1958, the much heralded 410 horsepower Edsel made its debut. It was a terrible flop. Ford's market researchers had been very wrong; there was no gap in the market for the Edsel to fill. The 1960s saw many changes at Ford: dissatisfied with his secondary role in the company decision-making, Henry Ford stripped Breech of his power, replacing him with Robert McNamara.
Replacing Your Vehicle's Windshield? Here is Your Windshield Replacement Survival Guide. A vehicles windshield provides the occupants a barrier from road debris and the outside elements. But most people don't know a windshield is designed for structural safety in case of an accident, especially a rollover. A windshield is a vehicles third most important safety feature behind the seat belts, and air bags. Windshields are like basketball backboards for air bags. So if you have a damaged windshield your air bag may not function correctly. It actually may inflate out the windshield cavity, rather than towards you. Or it won't adsorb any pressure because your windshield simply pushes out. Most consumers are not aware that when technicians replace your windshield, there is significant scratching to the "pinchweld" where the glass bonds to the car. These scratches must be prepped using paint and rust prevention steps. They should not simply leave exposed scratches where moisture from the exterior side can cause rust to develop.
