2019 All You Need To Know BEFORE You Go (with Photos) Car Dealers
Since I was in Calgary at the time, I decided to visit the dealership to have it looked at. First visit, to be honest wasn't super impressed, wasn't greeted promptly, or offered coffee or tea. The service department found an injector within the car that's causing the issue and they replaced it for me. I received the service survey for my satisfaction and I filled it out as such. I give the dealership five stars because of what happened afterwards. I received numerous calls, from the Service Department, the Dealership Manager, the North American Head Office representative - all asking me if there's anything they can do for me to improve my experience. This showed me that they really cared about customer satisfaction, even when I gave them a 9/10! It really impressed me that they are full throttle for that 10/10. I took the car in again, and this time everything was perfect. They found another injector causing the issue, so they decided to replace ALL of them to prevent further headaches.
Connecticut. I have three students who are working on a westward expansion research project about the innovations sparked by the building of the Erie Canal. So far they are hunting for info on the Dibble horse drawn scoop crane, the Star Bit Drill, and the Stump Puller. You have never seen three 10 year old boys so enthusiastic about the Erie Canal. Any info or response would be appreciated - I want them to see that research isn't just from websites and books, but also from speaking with experts. Happened upon your site and loved the old pics! Not sure if you can help me or not, but thought Id ask. My mom lives in Fletcher Hills (El Cajon, CA) (Annette Way) in a home which was built in the 1950鈥檚. I was in her yard digging, getting ready to put in a new fence. I was removing some old brick which were about 8鈥?wide. I dug down about 12鈥?and hit something solid. I found solid cement鈥︹€?then what appeared to be an opening. I stuck a camera as far as I could reach and took a couple pics. Thought it was an old well or something, but after some research I think it appears to be an old 鈥淐istern.鈥?Although I really have no idea. Was trying to figure out what was on the land prior to my mom鈥檚 home being built. Couldn鈥檛 really find anything other than Camp La Mesa (An Army camp from back in WWII). But its hard to tell exactly where this camp was located. Some old maps look like the was a train track near, but cant find any info.
A newcomer to our list this year is the Dodge Grand Caravan. With available Wi-Fi, a third-row seat that flips into a lot-facing couch, and Blu-ray/DVD system, the Grand Caravan can lure many fans off their couches to the big game. We couldn鈥檛 leave out the Toyota 4Runner鈥攊t has a feature that鈥檚 clearly been designed just for tailgating events. With Party Mode, the stereo鈥檚 bass is increased and redistributed to the rear of the car, which features two speakers in the tailgate itself. But the 4Runner has more to offer than Party Mode. Power outlets in the interior enable the use of TVs or other devices to stream the game. And with nearly 90 cubic feet of rear cargo room, it鈥檚 easy to load up all necessities including a small grill, cooler, and some chairs. The 4Runner also features a slide-out party tray that can hold up to 440 pounds, making it easier to unload or use as a three-sided table to enjoy all the game-day eats.
I discovered that I could easily clear the faults by turning off the car, and restarting. At that point, it wasn't too big of a concern. Then while off roading in the Mojave desert, I experienced a new set of faults. These began with a transmission fault. That was then followed by the suspension fault, and sometimes the ABS/HDC combo. I could still clear it easily, but it began to bother me. So I took it to the dealer. They discovered a stored code: P186D. This is indicated when either (a) a motor in an actuator inside the rear differential is faulty, or (b) the sensors for that actuator are sending bad signals to the computer. 1,000), but I luckily bought an extended warranty when I bought the truck. I strongly encourage all Land Rover buyers to get an extended warranty. 100, which is my deductilble. The dealer replaced some part in the rear diff, and also replaced the front control arm bushings. Since then I have had no more faults. The dealer also reported that my battery was weak. It failed their battery test. So, I just replaced the battery (see future post for details).
