Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver
Fully welded Land Rover LR2 trailer hitch is strong and durable. Draw-Tite's Tested Tough guarantee ensures that this hitch exceeds industry standards. The combination of an e-coat base and a powder coat finish provides excellent rust protection. Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals. Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems. In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff are available via both phone and email to address your questions and concerns for the lifetime of your hitch. The technicians at etrailer perform hitch installations on a daily basis, making them a valuable resource for do-it-yourselfers. The one-on-one, personal service you'll receive comes straight from an expert in the towing and automotive field. We've installed it, we've wired it and we've towed with it, so whatever your question, we can answer it.

All three special editions are powered by Land Rover's 2.2-liter diesel engine. Vehicles like the Defender always look so sad and uncomfortable within the cramped confines of international auto shows. Using six heritage Land Rovers towing 12-foot (3.7-m) harrows as artistic instruments, Land Rover recreated the moment into the largest sand drawing that the UK has ever seen. The vehicles finished the 1-km-long (0.62-mile-long) sketch just moments before the tide came in and washed it away. You can go inside the event in the video below.
The available engines included a 3.0 litre 12-valve SOHC with ECI-Multi electronic fuel injection and a 2.5 litre turbocharged diesel engine (4D56T) with an intercooler. In 1998, vehicles destined for General Export and the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Councilcountries) received a facelift. Wider fenders, new headlights, grille, bumper, fog lights and sidesteps were all part of the redesign. The wide fenders are often called "blister flare fenders". Driver and front-passenger SRS airbags were made standard on models equipped with the 3.5 liter DOHC V6 engine, whilst still remaining optional on GLS models with the 3.0 litre SOHC V6. An upgraded interior wood trim was made available on 3.0 litre GLS and 3.5 litre models. A leather-wrapped or leather and wood trim steering wheel was also made available, alongside an upgraded suspension and steering system. The 3.0 litre 12-valve SOHC engine was now available with a 24-valve configuration. Models without wide fenders remained as base models (GLX), available with a 2.4 litre 16-valve DOHC engine, producing 147 hp (110 kW). The 3.0 litre 12-valve engine was optional on these GLX models, and remained the base engine on the GLS.
The 2019 Land Rover Discovery鈥檚 sleek exterior and modern interior belie its true nature, that being a tenacious off-road adventurer in the best Land Rover tradition. Land Rover鈥檚 advanced 4-wheel-drive system allows the Discovery to traverse sand, mud, snow and steep hills, a feat few competitors can match. Land Rover may have missed the boat on CarPlay and Android Auto, but other high-tech goodies make up for the oversight. For example, there鈥檚 a waterproof Activity Key wristband for quick entry through the rear liftgate, and power-activated rear seats that can be activated remotely via the owner鈥檚 smartphone. The base and HSE models can seat five passengers with the option to add two more via a small but functional 3rd-row seat. This setup is standard on Luxury trims, but with the third row in place, there鈥檚 sparse cargo room. Fold the third row down, however, and you鈥檒l find nearly 40 cubic feet of space. The favorite seat in the 2019 Discovery is the driver鈥檚 seat, which not only offers supreme levels of comfort and adjustability, but a commanding view in all directions.
This is one of the best looks we鈥檝e had yet. The 2020 Land Rover Defender is due out in September, but we鈥檝e already seen it a few times out in the wild. We saw it testing in Moab, and even in our own back yard here in Colorado. Now, we have a new round of spy shots, and they reveal something we haven鈥檛 had a great look at up to this point: the interior. What first jumps out at us is the center console. All the controls are mounted high up on the dash, and the climate controls are actually angled upward toward the ceiling. Next to those controls, we see the buttons for the Terrain Response 2 system endemic to other Land Rover models. Someone managed to sneakily photograph the display cluster of the New Defender. The shifter more closely resembles a joystick, but it鈥檚 nothing too unlike what we鈥檝e seen in other Jaguar Land Rover SUVs, like the Jaguar E-Pace.
