Suggest A Feature - Visual Studio
New feature suggestions from the old User Voice forum have been migrated to Developer Community based on the impact to the broader community and our product road map priorities. If you think we've missed migrating your suggestion, add it as a new suggestion to Developer Community. Why have the votes not been carried over from User Voice? The voting system in User Voice operates differently from the voting system in Developer Community. In the new system, we want to maintain the integrity of the vote counts and avoid skewing the data. We decided to show the User Voice vote counts prominently as a tag (instead of votes) for each suggestion. When users vote on suggest a feature submissions using Developer Community, the new votes will show separately from the User Voice votes. Where can I see comments associated with the suggestions imported from User Voice? Follow the link we've included to go back to the User Voice comments on a suggestion that has been migrated to Developer Community. This link will be available during the transition period for easy reference if you need more context. Why can I see three vote counts for a suggestion?

Maintenance is the key to any vehicle. 4.4 in the LR3 is one of the better engine JLR made. When I bought mine the mechanic I talked to t,old me outright that not to worry about the engine. Check that the maintenance was done and that overall it has been maintained. Reliability should be based on big mechanical not consumable, but most do not see it that way. If your vehicle is in the shop because your ebrake stopped working (electrical ones have an override), or your window does not go down, this is not reliability issues. If it is the shop because it cannot start, or died on the side of the highway to to some stupid sensor, this is a reliability issue and one any and most vehicle have. 90% of Toyota reliability claims are the engine did no pack it in. They do not account for anything else. My FJCruiser for example the rear door sagged, the shifter locked up and I had to get it serviced, the ebrake failed, etc etc. Ph and it was under powered. Discovery 1 and 2 aside from electrical issues (lots) the 2 had issues with the cylinder sleeve slipping rendering the engine useless. This is a reliability hit for Land Rover over all. No vehicle is perfect. Yes there are some that are brutally crap. But most modern ones if maintained will live well past the 200K-250k mark.
This week I found the blog of Father Marc Boisvert, who runs a large agency for children, called Pwoje Espwa (Hope in Haiti) 100 miles from Port-au-Prince. He brings to light another in the evolving miseries facing Haitians more than month after the earthquake: the problems getting international aid to the countryside. A million people (by one report) have fled the city to surrounding towns, where they appear to be forgotten by relief agencies. Am not happy that I don't hear about any food being targeted for the countryside. The authorities are asking people to leave PaP and even giving them free transportation to Les Cayes and other smaller cities but how are we to feed all these people? Families in the countryside are falling apart because they can't find food. There are no jobs and there's no relief in sight. Yes, we are here and there are other groups helping but the need surpasses our abilities. Wasn't it bad enough to suffer through such a massive earthquake that caused thousands upon thousands of deaths, destroyed the city of PaP, displaced a million people?
