Vietnam Welcomes Land Rover

Vietnam Welcomes Land Rover

The Asian country of Vietnam has recently welcomed in its automotive market the luxury brand Land Rover. Famous all over the world, the Land Rover brand is known for its vehicle units that do not only provide performance but luxury and comfort as well. So how did the brand go about entering the Vietnamese auto market? All the brand needed as to coordinate with its Vietnamese representative and arm, New City Company which is based in HCM city. The Land Rover Discovery 3 has been marketed in North America as the LR3 and it comes as a 4x4 vehicle. A new entrant to the market, the Range Rover Sport is a sport utility vehicle that offers four doors and a great amount of capacity. To prepare the auto market of Vietnam for the upcoming entrance of the Land Rover vehicles, the brand's coordinators made sure that their products are displayed in the mentioned market. Since September this year, the various vehicle makes and models can be seen displayed in HCM City's New City showroom. This has been a good move for the brand for those who are able to take a look at the vehicles and those on display can be familiar with them. Land Rover vehicles have been created to provide the utmost type of luxury and comfort despite traversing through various types of terrains. The brand has also been known as a manufacturer of sport utility vehicles that outlast most units in the market.

There are a couple of reasons, some of which make economic sense, and others paint a stark picture. Building observatories. It's been the dream of astronomers to build places where they can observe the workings of the universe without interference from either the light created by Earth or radio interference by man-made systems. Learning about new technologies. Some of the technology that man is using is downright dangerous, but we need them, or at least need to know how they work so that we can build safer and better devices. Asteroid mining, this one is already on the 'testbed' as companies are lining up to carry this out. Our planet has huge but finite resources, and we're starting to run out of them! As a safeguard against extinction. The fact is that in the long term, Humanity doesn't really have much of a choice, we have to, or face the real possibility of extinction! We'd still run out of resources eventually, it would just take more time. Norman invasion of Saxon England to sixty years from now.

Few family cars are more polished than the Volkswagen Passat. This model has it all: cutting-edge safety features, a spacious cabin, lots of equipment and excellent build quality. But the sober design inside and out means the VW has a dowdy reputation, which isn鈥檛 entirely deserved. Add keen prices into the mix and you can see why the Passat makes a great used buy. Sure, you鈥檒l pay more than you would for an equivalent Vauxhall Insignia or Ford Mondeo, but we鈥檇 argue that the Passat is more well rounded than either of those less premium alternatives. Here we guide you through what is on offer and what to look out for. The Passat Mk7 that arrived in October 2010 was heavily based on the Passat Mk6, introduced in 2005. At launch there were saloons and estates, in S, SE or Sport trims. Petrol fans could choose between 122PS (120bhp) 1.4 TSI and 160PS (158bhp) 1.8 TSI engines, while there were 105PS (104bhp) 1.6 TDI and 140PS (138bhp) or 170PS (168bhp) 2.0 TDI diesels. All versions were available with either a manual transmission or a DSG automatic gearbox.

Most said the front seats were comfortable, but several noted that those in the back felt cramped, though that鈥檚 a common complaint of many vehicles in this class. Standard features include leather upholstery, rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control and a nine-speaker Alpine stereo. Features like adaptive headlights, Bluetooth, satellite radio, navigation and an upgraded stereo are available in various option packages. The LR2 received a minor facelift for 2010, but has otherwise gone mostly unchanged since 2008, so you may be able to save some money by shopping for an older model. If you don鈥檛 need the off-road capabilities of the LR2, you may like the 2010 BMW X3. Critics said the X3 has very good handling on paved roads, and is even available with a manual transmission, which driving enthusiasts may like. The X3 also boasts more cargo space, so it may be a bit more practical for use as a family vehicle. Another alternative to consider is the 2010 Acura RDX. The RDX also has sporty handling on paved roads, and its fuel economy is better than that of the LR2. Although it is sportier, several critics said some of its interior materials felt cheap, so if you鈥檙e looking for luxury, the RDX may not be as good as others.

He said everyone seemed to have new vehicles these days and looked appreciatively at the SIII. We met some Germans who were in the Deutscher Land Rover Club. They had been to Morocco too but one of them had a steering problem. He had managed to get from the bottom end of Morocco to Tarifa with a clunking noise, although when Adrian looked he could see nothing wrong with it. Hope he got home ok. Not sure whether it was a ball joint or what. German Defenders on the left. Our Series III on the right. And we met the couple from Hampshire. Sue and her partner in their 101 Forward Control. We always remember them because he went to great pains to tell us that their mates at RPI had sorted the vehicle for them. We didn't see much of her, she was making a cup of tea and looked at us as though we had crawled from goodness knows where.
