While modern car mirrors have automatic adjustments, it is always smart to check them yourself to ensure they are of the appropriate angle as you deem fit. As a safe rule of thumb, when you see even a slight sight of your vehicle's sides from your exterior side mirrors, then they're slanted too much inwards. To properly set the exterior mirror at the driver's side, tip your head sidewards opposite the window and then tilt the side mirror until the edge of your car appears. Aiming for the same at the passenger's side, bend slightly towards the right such that your head is positioned at the centre point inside the car. At this place, adjust the mirror inwards until you get a sight of the side of your car. Look after your wipers closely. Wipers may appear as trivial auto components but not until you ponder about the critical driving decisions you make and how you base them on clean, unobstructed view of your windshield. The dirt, small particles, sun, and other weather elements affect your wipers' condition, so take time as well in maintaining them. Clean your wipers with windshield washing liquid and sponge or soft cloth to remove any debris from them. Consider using an anti-freeze if snow got stuck with them. You'll know when it's time to go for wiper purchase when the rubber part goes rigid or chips off, though every 6 to 9 months is most recommended for timing a replacement.

During the 1990s, Ford Motor Company went on an international buying spree snapping up small automakers around the globe. Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Aston Martin all were brought within the Ford fold, and Mazda, by default has become part of Ford's line up even though the Japanese automaker is "only" partly owned by Ford. Ford parts and Mazda parts are sometimes interchangeable as well as are some of their vehicles. Let's examine closely the relationship between the two automakers and how their synergies benefit both companies. From 1984 on, Ford decided to build its own small pickup truck and the Ranger was born. Mazda, meanwhile, redesigned their truck and sold it separately until 2002. When time came for a new Mazda truck, Mazda tapped Ford and the current Ranger was rebadged as the Mazda "B" series. From 1991 to 2001 Ford's Explorer was rebadged and sold as the Mazda Navajo.
It began developing cars with this type of engine during the 1960s, and has continued through the present day. The benefits of the rotary engine over more common piston engines are its combination of high power output and much lighter weight. Though other companies have tried out this type of engine in the past, none have had as much success with it as Mazda. It is the sole manufacturer of both a pickup truck and a bus with the Wankel engine. During the 1973 oil crisis, the rotary engine cars lost some of their popularity because they were not very fuel efficient. Fortunately, they still offered other vehicles with four-cylinder piston engines, which became more popular during the crisis. The automobiles with Wankel engines were still produced, but marketed more as sport vehicles. The RX-7 and the RX-8 are two models that still utilized rotary-style engines. Perhaps the most well-known car that this company has ever produced is the Miata. The developments that arose from the partnership are numerous, but none are more well-known than the Ford Explorer. Created in 1991, the Explorer was a 2-door or 4-door sport utility vehicle. The Mazda version was called the Navajo and was available only as a 2-door model. The Navajo was sold from 1991 to 1994, but was never nearly as successful as the Explorer. The Ford version was the best seller among SUVs from the time of its introduction through more than ten years later. Its pioneering spirit continues as they strive to integrate alternative engine styles into their vehicles. They introduced the Miller cycle engine to the automotive world by using it in the Millenia sedan in 1995. With the growing focus on alternative fuel and electric cars, this company has already introduced such environmentally friendly vehicles.
