Actually, I have been listening. Thanks to all the kind comments on this thread and Scotty Kilmer鈥檚 recent positive video, I鈥檓 going to at least test drive it now. I鈥檝e always liked the idea that it鈥檚 built in Japan and that it still has a six-speed transmission. I still have concerns about long-term reliability and longevity of the CX-5 so I鈥檒l have to see if I can get over that. At least the Camry 2019 is recommended by Consumer Reports and has green dots in every category except one. Reliability and longevity are my absolute first criteria. I thought this post was also a sign that I should at least consider it because I鈥檝e been driving a BMW 3 series for 20 years. Thoughts on Mazda CX-5? 6-speed auto transmission is generally more-reliable than 8, 9, or 10 speed transmission these days. Mazda CX-5 was designed in Japan as well. I believe Toyota RAV4 was designed in USA. Why are you so scared?
