The Land Rover is a legend in North America and the desire to own a Defender is ever-increasing. We have had many people ask 鈥榗an you build me one of these? 鈥?and show us a picture of their 鈥楧ream Defender鈥欌€?.well the answer is Yes! It鈥檚 just a matter of cost and time and of course, an understanding of what you are trying to achieve. We have exported over 100 vehicles into North America fulfilling people鈥檚 requirements. Every build is hand built to order - no Land Rover leaving our premises is ever the same, and nor should it be! Each country has its own import requirements for vehicles. The USA requires that Defenders need to be 25 years old and must be Original. Canada is a bit different and has a 15 year limit on Defender imports. We offer a full rebuild service, from the chassis up. Even if the chassis is old and rusty and has seen its best we can restore it and then build the vehicle up from that. We can supply and fit all extras and components that you require and can give advice along the way.
We live in a consumer driven throw away world. But, what if instead of just tossing things out we actually put our thinking caps on and started thinking about how to re-use something? Sustainability is a life style that cultivates the practice of making something out of whatever resources you have. It is a way of life that teaches us not to waste anything. With that in mind I went searching for ways to use the shucked corn husks I had previously thrown away. The longer I live the more things I discover. Whatever you do, think twice before throwing something out because there are a million things you can do with that item. My latest discovery is corn husks. Seeing that it is corn season and after shucking my fair share of corn I started wondering if these husks that I usually throw away without thinking, would be useful for something.
