Brie, what a useful hub with some things I would have never thought to do with corn husks. I have made a few corn husk dolls after I paid so much for one. However, the 2012 LR2 offers all the tough-stuff hardware that some of the competition in the small crossover segment doesn鈥檛. Under the hood is a 3.2-liter inline-6 good for 230 horsepower and 234 lb-ft of torque, with the LR2鈥檚 inline six mated to a standard six-speed automatic. Max towing capacity is 3500 pounds, and the available HSE and HSE LUX packages further throw in comfort and convenience features such as Bluetooth connectivity, HD radio, and DVD satellite navigation. Since it went under the knife last year, the 2012 LR2 SUV sees few changes this year. The SUV still wears a new front fascia and new wheels received in last year鈥檚 refresh. Thanks to last year鈥檚 refresh, the LR2 looks like a sportier and smaller version of the LR4. Updates to the exterior last year that carry over for 2012 include a new front bumper and grille, halogen projector headlights and rear taillights, new 18-inch alloy wheels, and door mirrors that are 10 percent larger. Other standard features include a rear parking aid, rear privacy glass, and rear tailgate spoiler. Door handles, side mirror housings, and rear bumper are body-colored. Inside the 2012 Land Rover, you鈥檒l find the same 鈥渟tadium seating鈥?(higher rear bench) of its siblings and a full suite of electronic conveniences, such as an optional DVD navigation system with a full color touch screen. Land Rover鈥檚 Command Driving Position provides good driver sight lines, and climate control and panoramic sunroof come standard. Rear seats split 60/40, and when both are folded down, cargo capacity grows to 58.9 cu ft. An auxiliary jack is standard, and Bluetooth connectivity is available. The LR2 is equipped with seven airbags: two curtain, two front, two thorax, and a driver鈥檚 knew bag come standard.
